Gotta give credit to Director Shinomiya, even after Kafka’s berserk transformation, he held his own until Kafka went through another power-up and became bigger. If anything it just shows you how strong he is. If either Mina or Hoshina were in that situation they would’ve died before Kafka got to that state.

One thing that Isao didn’t mention in the anime but did mention in the manga during the reunion is that even if they did convert Kafta into a weapon, someone needs to be compatible with said weapon, or else it gets stored until further notice.

Yeah I wish they elaborated on it more and talked about how a lot of the numbers weapons they had especially after No.6's emergence killing swathes of the defense force as they said are still sitting in cold storage since they can't find anyone compatible to use them. Including the ones that had former users that died during 6's neutralization. Granted they'll probably elaborate on this more next season since its gonna head into the numbers weapons arc so I guess they're saving it for that.

I mean, it's somewhat alluded to during the board room discussion; He straight up states that he's not even sure that a Weapon created from Kafka would even be usable, and so weaponizing him and keeping him in storage is less beneficial then simply using him alive and willing; Hence the whole "no precedent" thing. @@skelitonking117 That, and during the fight with Kafka, one of the other heads in the command room was commenting on how only General Shinomiya is the only one to be compatible with the gauntlets and suit made from #2, which you can then extrapolate that the other numbered weapons function similarly. Plus, the standard issue suits and weapons function the same with how their percentages work, it's easy enough to guess that those function and bond with the wearer through compatibility aside from constant training.

That's quite literally my only problem with the show having read the manga last year and being caught up rn, outside of that I think it's a perfect adaptation. It won't stop me from enjoying the show at all, still gave it a 9/10, but they better fix this shit next season. More detail in the faces and make em less round, they really did my goat dirty

I'm genuinely surprised with Director Shinomiya, I thought he was gonna complete jerk like Endeavor was. But he's actually pretty cool, he not only gave Kafka a chance to prove he's still human. But he's also held his own against currently the most powerful kaiju for a good while.

Which I think makes a bit of a plot hole given that kikoru worries for her dad, she should be worried almost only for Kafka. Also, he is really strong but if Kafka was serious from the start I think it wouldn't have been as far of a fight.

Isao cared deeply about his wife and it's implied he was a good father for his situation (working as the director of the defense force and all that), I'm guessing he turned that radical and extreme when his wife was killed by a Kaiju. Provoking the extreme pressure on Kikoru, too. He's not the greatest father, but I think his situation is more understandable.

The butler doing his job, treated her better than her own father. And all this from what looks like elementary school. Endeavor might think of shoto as his chance to get back at all might at the start, but he does actually care for him too. Shoto refused to do what his father said and so they got into a bad relationship. But if he actually did try to get the best results, the best possibilities, to be the best as kikoru does, he would have been proud. Like he is now that he realized his wrong doings.

I love how this show just casually beat hella clichés. The car in the flashback was a mobile creamatorium for pets. In Japan when your pet dies, if a town doesn't have facilities to take care of it, you can order one of them to come. They'll preform a funural service similar to the ones people get in Japan as well. Thats why there was smoke coming out of the truck, it was creamating Mina's cat.

Kafka when he fought at the test, was a whopping 9.8 Given in this episode he turns red, I can only assume he jumped to a fortitude 11 or 11,5 given how he not only got larger. He got more durable, if not twice as strong. Since his size before was around 7 feet normally, That. Looked like 20 ft+ so not only does he evolve the angrier he gets, but also he's holding back ALOT
