This is decent for what it is. Although I wouldn’t ever go back to it. However, if you’re looking for amazing and great power metal? German power metal is where you would automatically go to! There are so many phenomenal bands such as Iron Savior, Freedom Call, Grave Digger, Rage, Brainstorm, Primal Fear, Gamma Ray, and the aforementioned Helloween! I could go on and on with a nation who’s been blessed with bands in this genre with such enormous talent! Germany 🇩🇪 is where I would point to for anyone who’s curious on where to start for outstanding power metal! Traditional metal as well!

Very good album, definitely way above average in terms of quality for this subgenre. The philosophical part of the episode really impressed me personally. As someone who seems to be in the minority on this channel who doesn't come primarily from Extreme Metal, but has always experienced Metal in its entirety since my early youth, I have never understood in all these years how people limit themselves to the point where they basically only like one type of music. But of course I also understand the personal point that people see Metal as something that creates their identity and live it more like a kind of worldview or even some kind of substitute for a religion. Personally, I have been a music lover in general since I was a child, who loves a whole range of music and at the end of the day sees it all as a large repertoire of art that enriches my life, that builds me up and gives me strength.

Love this album. Got into it because of this channel. Check out Eternity’s End. The singer is with them now and it’s very good.
