Steven_CFC we still keep our colours and we respect where we have came from . A lot of hibs fans still keep the Irish root strong and don’t forget if it wasn’t for hibs there wouldn’t be a Celtic as we know it today. Doesn’t have to be bigotry and hatred towards other clubs to prove we are an Irish/Scottish club. Most hibs would say there leithers anyways. The black Union Jack your rendering to came from the hibs casuals who hate Celtic and rangers so it was a (get it up ye) scenario where they made a Union Jack in green white and black knowing it would offend Celtic for it being a union design and would offend rangers by changing the colours to green white and black . 90 percent of hibs fans would say there Scottish or Irish/Scottish.

Theres no such thing as a green union jack, if it's not red white n blue it's not a union jack is it moron, The difference between hibs and celtic is that we were set up to help the irish community and raise money for them, celtic saw what we were doing and realised it's something they could do to make money for themselves,

Hibernian FC the first team to wear the green the first team to wear the hoops. Celtic FC are solely based on a idea in from Edinburgh's Cowgate area. The original since 1875 accept no other imposters.

Hibs were set up for the Irish in Edinburgh as Celtic were set up for the Irish in Glasgow or Dundee Hibernian were founded for the Irish in Dundee. Just because one came first doesn't make another an imposter. If Dundee Hibernian were formed first it doesn't mean that the Irish in Edinburgh or Glasgow didn't deserve a club or that Hibs were imposters. Yes Celtic were inspired by Hibs but that's something to be proud of. Hibs were formed to help Irish people and other clubs taking inspiration meant Hibs helped the diaspora across the country and not just in Edinburgh.

Great video. Btw Mcpartly, Whatever "Erin go Bragh" means it is an anglicisation of something. "Éire go breá" would be "Ireland so fine". Go bragh may well mean "until judgement" and hence forever, as also found in "Alba gu bràth". (Old Irish "bráth" - judgement)

CELTICSRFC do you mean get invovled with the irish people based in ireland? Well we have a supporters club there. But it is actually hard when all of them are glory hunters supporting celtic. We used to have a large amount of irish supporters from ireland coming over to watch us play. We used to help them by giving them food anf clothes aswell. In fact hibernian were set up to help the irish settle into scottish life. They faced hate and were treated like dogs by the locals. They were set up to unite the people and help the poor. We done so much for the irish. But then your club was formed. Brother wilfred or whatever wanted this model at celtic... glass however wanted a business.. you signed our players without paying us a fee. You killed our club. We went banktupt then. Celtic didn't help its fellow irish club then. Is that what wilfred wanted? You stole our colour. You stole our hoops. You stole our model. In fact you didn't even steal that it was down to money... we helped the irish. We gave them love and respect. How do they repay us? By moving to support celtic. And thats fine however when you took all our players. Why would they support hibs? We take harps and ireland flags to games along with the saltire. What else do you want? Ira songs? We have james connoly you have billy.

We do, we just don't pretend to be 100% Irish to the point where we don't fly Scottish flags and tri colours only. We also don't sing ira songs as they are divisive and horrible.
