When western countries do that, that is fine, because they are protecting democracy. When someone else is doing the same, that’s a crime. Western moral standards.

I like guy spier but do we really only care about people who are dying in other white European countries? Almost sickening to listen to since he's basically saying: help these groups and fuck the others since they're not (related /close to) us. Goes off to talk about how lucky we are to be born in these rich countries and be grateful etc, but completely ignores the hypocrisy of only caring about hardships in 'developed, white, civilised' countries since those are worth more? lets look at the war crimes that both western Europe and the US have committed and by that same logic we should sanction ourselves as-well? haven't seen anyone as eager to help out refugees since Ukraine, the moment these 'refugees' aren't white no one gives a fuck about them it says stuff like 'we don't want you, stay away, you're taking our jobs.' Very difficult talk to listen too, maybe you should stick to investing...

not only that, he is a blind supporter of Israeli occupation and colonisation of Palestine, he's always promoting zionist agenda, hypocrisy, nothing more!

Why is Guy so enthusiastic about Freedom and Fighting for freedom when it comes to Ukraine, but he is always 100% supporting military occupation and colonisation of Palestine, he is always defending Israel whatever it does, there is a huge inconsistency in his morals
@plowerrr3

Just because you agree with him in one conflict narrative, and disagree with him on a different conflict narrative, does not make him morally inconsistent. It just means you disagree on the nature of the conflict.

@@plowerrr3 this is called hypocrisy, two countries occupy other countries by force and put their civilians under military rule & bombard them if they object or resist, but one is fine and wonderful and the other one is evil, while the fine one is actually doing worse: "Apartheid, ethnic cleansing, land theft" there's no narratives here, there's facts! otherwise, one can justify anything
@plowerrr3
@plowerrr3 2 жыл бұрын
@@palestineViper Nah, sounds like you’re very much spewing a narrative. “Ethnic cleansing” - narrative. “Apartheid” - narrative. “Land theft” - narrative. Ignoring the very complex history between Israel and the Palestinians - narrative. Ignoring genocidal terrorism promoted by Palestinian leadership - narrative. I highly recommend reading “Catch the Jew” by Tuvia Tenenbom. He goes undercover in Israel and the West Bank as a German journalist, and documents how the entire narrative you see and hear from the media about the plight of the Palestinians, is essentially just that - narratives, often spun out of thin air by German funded NGOs and so-called human rights groups, and a foreign press that is happy to look the other way.
@palestineViper
@palestineViper 2 жыл бұрын
@@plowerrr3 as I told you, if you want you can justify anything by viewing anything as a narrative not because it's a narrative, but because it goes well with your interest; but at the end, facts that are verifiable can't be disputed. I give you one example "Apartheid": Israel controls the west bank, they say it's part of Israel, when you travel through the west bank you will see Israeli army everywhere, Israeli flags, roads, settlements, signs saying "welcome to Israel"! & there you have Palestinians and Israelis living next to each other, 1. If you're a Jew you can just book a flight to Israel and get instant citizenship, and go live in a settlement in the west bank, while countless Palestinians who were born there are not allowed to live there 2. The signs on the roads just mention the newly built Israeli settlements, no mention of the Palestinian towns which are hundreds or thousands of years old 3. Israel installed gates on all entrances to Palestinian areas which they close/open for no clear reason, putting a whole town in jail sometimes for days, while settlements always have access to roads 4. If you're a Palestinian and decide to demonstrate with your friends, the army will crush you, tear gas, rubber coated bullets, and often live ammunition will be used against you, & they will imprison you sometimes for years. If you're an Israeli settler and decide to do a demonstration, the army will come to protect you 5. If you're a palestinian and become violent to your neighbour Israeli settler, the army will shoot you dead on the spot, if you're a settler and become violent to a palestinian the army will call the police at most while protecting you(+ when such escalations happen, even if they're caused by settlers, the army will block the Palestinian neighbourhoods and jail them until things calm down) 6. If a palestinian does any violence he will be sent to military court and will rotten in prison, the israeli settler will be sent to a civil court in the best case, with the option for psychological test and home-stay, + mostly he will walk free and nobody will bother him, 7. If an Israeli settler buys or claims that he owns a land, he is free to use it for whatever purpose while Palestinians can't use their land as they wish 8. Israel often confiscate Palestinian lands for no clear reason, settler lands never get confiscated 9. Palestinian villages next to newly built Israeli settlements are not allowed to build houses on the outskirts of their villages, it's also semi impossible to get any permit to build if you're a palestinian 10. Home demolitions applies only to Palestinians 11. As a palestinian if you marry someone from outside, it's almost impossible to get her or him a residence permit, but as a settler it's very easy 12. as a Palestinian it's usual to be stopped on checkpoints for hours for no reason, a settler would never be stopped on a checkpoint 13. collective punishments apply only to Palestinians 14. Israeli army is allowed to imprison Palestinians indefinitely without trial just for suspicion that he might be politically active, some people get imprisoned for years without trial, an Israeli settler can never be imprisoned without fair trial 15. You as a Palestinian have no political rights whatsoever, but your neighbour settler does. these're just a few example. all these discriminations are based on ethnicity/religion... these are verifiable facts and not narratives, + Amnesty and other international organisations including the Israeli B'tselem call it apartheid .. so, if this is not apartheid, then please tell me what apartheid is

@@palestineViper More made up narratives. There is way too much here for me to respond to each and every point, but let’s start with point one, which is just a total spin on what the current situation is like in Israel. First of all, you make no mention of the fact that by law, Jews are barred from living in the West Bank and Gaza, by the PA and Hamas. While 20% of Israel consists of Muslim Arabs with full Israeli citizenship, there is not a single Jew who lives in the West Bank and Gaza, despite the fact that these are part of ancient Israeli territory and have been lived on by Jews since biblical times, albeit in small numbers due to constant persecutions and “ethnic cleanings.” Yes, Palestinians can not live in settlements because those settlements are a legally distinct identity from the West Bank - they are legally part of Israel. Palestinians and Israelis are two separate nationalities, so it makes perfect sense that they would not be allowed foreign citizenship, or the ability to live in a different territory, particularly since the two nationalities are not in a state of peace. And yes, Jews get automatic citizenship in Israel, which makes perfect sense, since this sliver of land is the “Jewish homeland” - indeed, the only homeland that Jews have after being exiled from it and persecuted for millennia in foreign countries, unlike the 23 Arab/Muslim countries that make up the Middle East, or the dozen or so Christian countries that exist.
