Thanks for sharing Guy, you are the first one i know who had the courage of saying coca cola isnt good for consumers due to sugar. I think everything in it except water probably not good consumers. As Taleb has said the best things are natural like water, coconut water etc but there is no money in it. Unfortunately I have thought about it as well and found just like Buffet condemns finance industry saying it doesnt have interests of consumers in focus, i find most industries are like that. Most companies which have moat even like costco are like that may be not amazon because amazon owns whole foods now. but this is not something bad about them it is just how the nature of world around us is. With clever marketing they are appealing to our senses and not to our brains or minds

Is it just me or is Guy Spier the Joe Biden of the investment world? Is he even serious? How can any sane person give him money to invest, when he comes to a presentation, where 10% of the time he keeps asking about how much time he has left and 10% about how great his team is?! I think time is valuable and Guy is wasting his audiences time because he has not prepared for his talk. He might have taken a few notes, but that’s not preparing for a presentation, that’s just brainstorming about what you could actually talk. Also he is just a huge buzzkill.
