Best hidden lake in Washington State (Bonnie Lake)

What's up ya bunch of hicks! Tony and I had an absolute EPIC morning on the water for my birthday. We caught over 40 fish in a 6 hour period. One of the best days of fishing in my recent memory. The creek is extremely low at time of this recording and there are several hazards in the creek that are just under the water. We high-centered a couple times but I was on watch out so we were able to pull up the motor in time to save the prop. Use extreme caution if you're planning on heading out. I'm going to Banks with my dad and brother for fathersday. My dad has a sweet bassboat.. a few years ago I accidentally caught a 13 pound male walleye fishing for smallies, on a Carolina rigged lizard at banks. I know it was male because we ate that fucker. Eastside bass fishing is so much better than west side.

Damn a 13lb walleye is awesome man! Never hear of walleye being caught on a caroline rig though lol good luck at banks man, some nice fish swimming around in there!

@@Hickology yea. I almost caught 2 10 pound + plus walleye that day. The first one broke off right at the boat. I retied and casted out and boom caught the 13 pound walleye. Yea Carolina rigged lizard just dragging behind the boat seems to slay fish there at banks. One of my favorite rigs.

Bonnie is so awesome. But if you haven't been there please listen to the rest of the comments about the danger. The creek is very slim and shallow. to launch anything longer than a 14ft jon boat is a task in itself. If you get up there and big breeze picks up the opposite direction of the creek, you might be spending the night out there, almost happened to me when my engine went out. Thankfully there was 1 other boat on the lake. Pack accordingly and bring a friend!

Last time I went to Bonnie I popped a joke in my aluminum boat 😂. Lost a fender on my trailer. At least we got my buddies bass boat on the lake hahah took us about 3 hours tool get back through the creek. Didn’t get to the cars tell about 12 a.m

no lol the wind sock I bought doesn't fit the hero 8 with the mic attachment. I HATE THE HERO 8. Im about to go back to using the hero 5 with the lapel mic.

You don't use the software wind filter? I also have a hero 8 and the filter works pretty well, but I don't think I've had mine out in 20+ MPH winds... I feel ya tho. I dont care for the Hero 8 design and it overheats almost instantly if trying to record at 4k on a hot day.

Been a while since i fished Bonnie, but i remember it used to have a mean ole pig guarding that creek channel. Atleast thats the story my buddy told me. I saw the pig but he ignored us that day.
