HIDA FOLK VILLAGE, TAKAYAMA // 飛騨の里 (Japan Travel Guide)

Hida no Sato, or Hida Folk Village is an open air museum in Takayama, Japan that showcases traditional building from the Hida region. This is one of the first places I went to on my very first trip to Japan (in 2013!) so it holds a special place in my heart. Make sure to watch until the end of the video to see (kind of embarrassing) clips I took on that trip!

What month did you visit this place? I'm currently make my itinerary for first time trip to japan, i get overwhelmed and confused 😅 but def will dd this village to my list. If i may ask, osaka-nara-kyoto-takayama is city i wanna visit, is it okay for glimpse of history and face of japan* for first time ? Or should i visit tokyo to make it complete? Sorry for grammar, its my 3rd language 😆 thank you for your videos, really apreciate it.
