Hey mate! what kind of switch pedal do i need to buy to get this? i tried with my amp pedal but it didnt get the octave well and there's so many pedal in the market :/

another cool thing to do is to put your tuner first in the sy1's loop and you can use it to kill your guitar signal instead of having to turn the knob

Good demo of some features I didn't know about. The expression pedal is very useful and on some settings it does control the tempo of the effect, so the dual footswitch for tap tempo is less necessary in that case.

You can use an A/B box to switch between the expression pedal and tap-tempo switch.

i bought this pedal last year and i enjoyed playing, but after 16 months using the Boss SY-1, the pedal lost sensitivity from the top G(13 fret) and i dont know if is worth to fix it or buy a new one that can have the same problem after months of use, i dont know if i would recommend to my friends to buy it

Oooh, funny you should mention that! I recently had the same issue, the sound was just dying after about the 13th fret on the trebble strings. Then I realused I had it in bass mode rather than guitar, so I just flicked the small switch on the back and it resolved the issue.

The only thing I don’t know is it doesn’t seem to have the sound the SYB-5 Bass Synth has. I wish it did. If it does then I will buy it.

can this send t0 2 amps 0ne with fx 0ut then dry t0 0ther amp for just guitar?

Yes it can! In fact I do this quite often in the two piece band I play in to thicken up the sound.

You're using spst style switch. It doesn't work well. Use spdt or dpdt switch which stays on at resting and truns off when pressed. Boss designs their pedal controls this way so people buy their own footswitches which can change polarity. By the way everything should be momentary, latching type switches don't work either.
