Some of the bass sequences using a bass guitar give classic synth pop bass lines. I also downloaded the SY-1 sound list for this pedal which gives a description of all the preset sounds.

Hi Leon! Greetings from Singapore once again! I think the SY-1 is a great pedal! Our guitarist has the SY-1 too! However it really has to be used with delay or reverb to thicken it up. By itself its alright but there has to be alot of tweaking to do in my opinion.

The faces you make with all the sounds is gold. You should make a 30 second video of every contorted face you make for each sound LMAO! Seriously I am moving from the Axe-Fx II to the FM-3 and one disappointment is all the cool synth patches I have on the II - I think I got most of them from the guy on the forum that does all the crazy stuff, can't remember is name now. Those patches use up too much CPU on the FM3, this looks like a cool standalone pedal to continue the face contorting fun on the FM3!

Have you tried any of the other routing options? Does the send/return give you the solo guitar or the solo synth? I’d love to be able to run this in parallel on a high gain amp without distorting the synth. Should be possible(?)

Send/return gives you the guitar dry signal to process as you wish :)

i have that pedal on my next-to-buy list. i believe a small pedalboard with an atomic amplifire 6, this and maybe something like an H9 is an almost-no-limit piece of gear
