I had the moto e5+ but now I've got the g7 power for close to a year now. I didn't think it had split screen feature becuz for some odd reason it doesn't work the same on the g7 power as the e5+. That is untill today. Thanks alot!

I want to ask you if something can be done with this phone. I have this phone, as a Tracfone, and I love it, but can't seem to do one thing. Can I put an icon on my home page (or any page) that shows me all of my Apps? I know I can scroll up, from the bottom of the phone, and see the Apps that way...but with some phones there is an actual App (or icon) that you can tap and it will show you all installed Apps that was as well. Can that be done with this phone? Thank you.

You'll never need a flashlight button on this phone. Just turn on karate chop(fast flashlight) in moto. It's awesome.

The split screen can be activated in the moto app with one step. If you karate chop the phone twice, the flashlight will come on. If you rotate your wrist from side to side the camera app will open.

Question on the G7 phone. Is there a way to turn opff the Add Call feature. I notice when i call people on my G7 and i put my ear to the phone, my ear must be touching the Add Call feature and that takes you to my contact list. Then it starts dialing a number on my contact list while i'm talking to someone else. When you call someone on your G7 phone you will see this Add call feature. Anyone know how to turn it off?

You have to unlock Developer Mode ( Go to *Settings* - *System* - *About* *Phone* - then tap *Build* *Number* several times ) Then when in *Developer* *Options* scroll down to the *Drawing* section and you'll see the option *Display* *Cutout* .

Thanks for the tips! 👍 My settings screen automatically switches to dark when I turn on dark mode. Wonder why yours doesn't do that?! (I bought my g7 Power directly from Motorola... wonder if that makes a diff??) The only thing that doesn't change to dark automatically is my contacts/phone. That stays light despite the fact I previously set it to automatically match the system setting. But at least there's the option to switch on dark mode from inside the phone/contacts settings. Bought the g7 Power about 2 years ago. It needs the speaker and charging port replaced soon, but I'd much rather replace those parts than buy a new phone. Love this g7 Power... it's held up *incredibly" well despite the fact it gets dropped at least 4 times a day! (I *wish* I were kidding about the drops.🤦‍♀️) Can't say the same about any of the other phones I've owned previously!🏆🏆🏆

I love my G7, best phone I have had so far, and the price is so reasonable. Only one downside that I wish Motorola would fix: It is impossible to forward a whole text message. It has to be done section by section. Strangely enough, I don't have the problem forwarding my email messages with my G7.

Hold down on a blank area of your home screen. After a second a pop-up will appear. Select the middle option, "Widgets". Scroll down until you see something called "Time & Weather". It'll be there.

The tips on the Moto G7 power actually I knew most of thoseI've had the little one thing at the bottom you move back and forth her up the one little line I've had that many times and I've changed back and forth I've seen all the Moto tricks in there you didn't mention likeflashlight how to turn it on and off real fast by doing karate chop top thing with your your phone turns the light out your phone your light flashlight on shopping again twice and it turns it off there's there's others that you didn't mention turn your phone over face down and it turns off instantlyit's a pretty cool phone I just got it not too long ago and I liked it the battery is unbelievable it it last like you wouldn't believe I used I played pool for about an hour and a half and then use 10% of my battery turbochargersbut most of the motos do come with them and they do charge faster thank you David moore

I tried that one button navigation and thought it SUCKED and to be just another gimmick to turn off. I thought the "smartphone" would be just as user friendly as the Motorola flip phone I had some years back but I was wrong. I thought it would be as user friendly as the LG and Samsung ones I've used before but again I was wrong. The front firing speaker, color, size, weight are about the things I really like about. DARK MODE is a bald faced lie as far as I'm concerned. In Dark Mode EVERY screen should be dark but the Settings, Dialer, Messages screens are still white/light. It won't let you use the FM Radio unless you give it access to the microphone because you are supposed to be able to control the radio by voice. My hands still work so I don't need that feature which means I can't use the FM Radio.

With WiFi calling turned on? Mine even sends pictures with the data turned off. It could be your carrier though. I was at Boost Mobile and there are things my smartphone can do at Metro By T-Mobile that I was able to do at Boost.
