i still use my G7 Play and it`s nice phone for the price :) only downside i have noticed is that: take more than 1 picture and chekk that they are good. some times the focus takes time to be good so. other than that it`s a good phone for the price(Norwegian user) :D

@@frh1985 Hello . not sure it was around when the G7 Play was new in norway/europa :) so far its good for the value, only negative i feel is the camera focus, i try to take pictures for then be used as textures for 3D modell`s etc editing in Gimp. so when i take pictures i need to take more than 1 picture youst in case the picture is not good/crisp. other than that it has worked fine- Face camera unlock, the OS, default apps, etc the camera other than the focus/ holds the camera steady when taking photo is good quality white balance, and options :)

I have this phone, it is simply amazing, if you want pixel quality pic's, install the gcam app. The sound from the speakers are the best I've heard in a smartphone for a very long time.

@@cjxplusone I didn't follow any, I just installed the app from a website and it worked like a charm. It was from the XDA website.

I did too but all it does is download file and that's it. I can't find the file anywhere and can't even find it on my camera app.

@@cjxplusone did you install it? If you did install it, there is a separate camera icon for the gcam app. So what you're telling me you downloaded it but never got the chance to install it. I know all the g models have a different camera sensors, so I don't know if the app on the g7 plus will work on your power.

But you mentioned that there would be a separate camera app icon for the GCam and that I do not have after trying to install the apk file. You might be right about the sensor being different from the G7 Plus vs my G7 Power. Sucks... 😣 But I've read some people were able to install the GCam app on their Power. 😭

How can I film while playing music? On my old android I would start filming, then pull-down ongoing music to resume playing. But on this phone there is no music on the status bar.

Can the split screen be downsized to the moveable screen. A small square that can be placed where i it and still multi task. On the galaxy j3 achieve it has both options to split screen or shrink the shrink and free move it .also do I have to use the fingerprint to unlock and use or can I use a code to unlock

Great, but how do you reverse the order of the "recent" and "back" buttons on the bottom? Why is the Moto default to have back on the left and recent on the right when everyone else in the world has back on the right and recent on the left?

I love that function by gesture! It's the one thing I'd miss the most if I'd change to another phone. I wonder if one can add more gestures. Many say camera is one of the best things on this mobile but I'm not convinced yet

monkey magic I have that app and I use it on my moto g6. If it is not working and has access to location you might need to reinstall the app. If this does not work I suggest you get a different map app like, Mapmyrun.

Hi, great reviews and I really want to buy one, but there is a problem, no one seems to know if it has a compass or not. On the Motorola website it doesn't mention a compass in the specs, but in the community forum an admin guy says it definitely does, even though he doesn't have the phone, he said he will get Motorola to change it. So as I see it, you have the phone, can you check out if it has a compass, then I can go back to the Community and share your answer with them. Oh, by the way, I'm talking about the UK model. Question on the G7 phone. Is there a way to turn off the Add Call feature. I notice when i call people on my G7 and i put my ear to the phone, my ear must be touching the Add Call feature and that takes you to my contact list. Then it starts dialing a number on my contact list while i'm talking to someone else. When you call someone on your G7 phone you will see this Add call feature. Anyone know how to turn it off?

Hi. I've got a MR7g play. When I used it first the notification were blinking at my screensaver. I liked it bacause of my work it's fantastic. So, it has no notification LED and you have to use the peek feature every time you want to see if there are any missed events? My old HTC M8S still has it; it's so convenient to check my phone with just a quick glance without waving at it. I guess I'll have to get used to missing LEDs, as many phones don't have it these days... Moto G7 Plus is a great phone for those on a budget who still need NFC (so, no Xiaomi and Huawei phones with NFC for this price). The only alternative is Samsung A7 (2018). I guess I'll buy G7 Plus sometime later this year if there will be no better options around 300 EUR.

I have several devices saved in my Bluetooth list, but every time I activate Bluetooth, it tries for an extended period to reconnect to the last thing I was connected to.
