Thank you for making this video. I was up in the Timberline area, checking out camp sites, and was only able to drive to a few. To quickly go through these KZbin campsite videos is such a time saver! Thank you for making this video!

Lol, try finding it in satellite images. I wouldn't give my own mother the location of these campsites.

Loved the humor in this one, and if you don't create a band I think Beetles & Buttcracks would be a great 2nd channel name. Have fun at the expo!
Congrats on the wedding! Welcome back! Always enjoy your videos!

The moment you pulled into that first campsite Tessa was like “oh man, that’s super exposed, we’ll see how this goes” 😆 glad you found a less windy option on night 2!
@ScaleofTwo2 жыл бұрын
Lol, that wind was intense. I feel like maybe our luck with nice weather in those kinds of spots has run dry 😅

It poured on our wedding day too. I think it is good luck.

@@ScaleofTwo lol true, still have to be careful about it. Also sure wish we could get over to the expo but budget says no as I have yet to get the person I have to deal with in HR to get back to me about the loan and gas prices has eaten away at my budget sadly.

Congratulations!! Two awesome campsites in one video. Definitely pays off to walk the road, sometimes it can be an epic find or a turnaround. Hopefully the first site was able to keep its 1.7 rating after the beetle incident.
@ScaleofTwo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Scott! And yeah I forgot to flip on the camera, but we came across a group just past that spot so we figured there would be more and we were fortunately correct 😄 And I’d say it even jumps to a 1.9 after watching Kim dance around with a beetle in her pants

Congratulations ! We love your laid back style of camping. My husban and I are new to PNW. If you don't mind sharing, we were wondering what lake that was that you had lunch at? Was it Trillium? Thanks so much for sharing your adventures! We love Cooper 🐶 bunches too 💕
@ScaleofTwo2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! And that was called pine hollow reservoir, just outside of tygh valley. Trillium is up higher in the mountains, usually fairly packed but if you can catch it at a good time it’s a beautiful lake. We really love Timothy lake for hanging out on the water though

Always enjoy your videos! Congratulations on the rings! I think I have been able to pin down the general area where these campsites are at, but I was hoping that maybe possibly hopefully you could somehow point me in the direction of the second campspot!?!?! It would be perfect for some friends I have that don't get out much, and I've been trying to get them out for a loooong time now! I think it would be a great spot for them to have a good time and want to do it again! I promise I'm respectful as it gets with pack in pack out and respecting the environment around us! Trees, mushrooms and nature are my passions in life! It'll be like we were never even there! 😁😁
@ScaleofTwo2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you! 1, thank you for respectfully asking! 2, unfortunately we don’t share spots on the internet, I trust that 90% of people would be respectful of it but sharing coordinates online encourages more people to visit. A creek side spot like this is a pretty delicate one, so I don’t feel comfortable sharing the coordinates. But we do have a great video on our channel that could help you pinpoint it with a little bit of research! I think there are at least a few good context clues as to where it’s at. And searching around for a spot is the most fun part! Sorry to rain on the parade, but I hope you understand 😄 If you’re interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIjIo5KMpNJsja8

I would ask if you'd be willing to sell lat/lng coords to these sites, but I'd need a 4x4 first lol. Another fun video thanks. Took me 3 nights to finish, well only 2 because the 3rd night I'd forgotten I'd finished it the previous night annnnd time for bed again (tired comment)
