Uh oh Yvonne...Diane will want that candy cane cart! :) But yes, the method of decorating most of the vintage Xmas pieces is called "cold paint" which as you know is done over the glaze. Being unfired, it's quite fragile and easy to damage. Just a word of advice to the subscribers who don't know, never clean them with water or you will have a sad mess with the paint coming off and a greatly devalued piece. Darin

Oh my heart! It went to beating like a drum. I would have gone crazy with the bags too. What really got my heart going was the butter dish with the butterfly 🦋. I need the sled for my daughter. She has a huge ledge in her living and she decorated it last year for Christmas. I’ve found a piece for it that I thrifted but now I’m needing a better Santa 🎅🏻 than I thrifted to go with it. I love your shopping trips, love the stores. Happy hunting for goodies to redo.😊❤

You hit the jackpot. All those Christmas yummies and the ironstone. Just love it and your excitement. I’d be on a high too with that haul. And no, it is definitely not too early to start your Christmas arrangements. Our shoppers are asking for Christmas already. Vendors have started putting Christmas in their booths. Our Halloween and fall sales have pretty much come to a standstill.

I always go with my gut. But interesting I’m really thinking about it… but if I have to talk myself into it… I do usually make a second trip around… so that’s when I make my final decision if I didn’t snag it up the first time. Sometimes it’s not even there when I go back 🤗

October fest in our little town. We have 5 antique stores, 3 thrift stores, and there was a big harvest festival county fairgrounds. I found a few little treasures. 🤭

I want to know, did you leave any Bendy Elves for anyone else? 😁 You have me hooked on them. There so so cute. I’ve been on the look out for even one. I think you did very today. Lots of vintage Christmas items. I think you need to start collecting the little elves cups. They are really cute. I’m recovering from Milton coming to Sarasota Florida. Only one broken window but lots n lots of debris n large branches. It’s gonna take me a good month to get it all cleaned up by myself. Thanks Yvonne for taking us along.
