I have two male donks (both rescues, both geldings) and they play and get along together like boys do. They chase each other, roughouse, grab each others necks and kick at each other and generally try to make the other annoyed. But I know they’d be lost without each other. So, brothers basically. I think yours will get there!

I had a dominate female horse that would chase and bite our young colt. It was suggested to put a collar on her that we could apply a small shock to whenever she would even look his way to make her think he was the reason for it. That way she would learn to leave him alone.

As you know, this is the time of year when farmers put pig manure on the fields and Greene smells reallllly bad this year. It’s very small only 4 acres but we started learning about homesteading and we were in our late 50s at the time.
