@ other commenters, i appreciate the ums and uhs make it more difficult to parse but this was almost certainly translated live by an interpreter who had to do all of this on the spot, not someone reading from a script. it's an incredibly hard job that i don't think interpreters get enough credit for, especially given how quickly hamaguchi is talking. a version with subs would be great, but these complaints are unfair imo

I think um uh that this movie um uh was a very fine movie to watch. Um uh the female protagonist um uh did frustrate me um uh very much.
