Foundation of my Favorite band, got me into Bass and music. Amazing man, god like drummer, gifted writer and a real trooper. He survived losing his daughter, wife, even his dog in a single year and managed to rebuild his life, with new music, tours, books and marrying a new wife, and having a daughter with her before he lost his life to cancer. I've seen him multiple times at concerts, but never got to shake his hand or thank him for giving the world such amazing music and perspective. Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington and now Niel Peart. Three amazing artists taken before their time.
