I was ghosted in the worst way.. I had just beat a 25 year addiction, and was about a year sober when I decided to try dating again.. I hadn’t dated in 10 years because my ex-husband hurt me in so many ways.. so I finally felt like I could try dating and I started talking to this guy and we had so much in common and had even been on one date.. my 40th birthday was coming up, and he told me to be ready and he was going to pick me up the morning of my birthday and take me out for a fun day.. I got all beautiful and ready for him and waited for him to show up, and he never showed up.. he ghosted me on my 40th birthday and I never heard from him again.. Edit: Btw, I just recently celebrated being clean for 2 years! I haven’t relapsed once, and I’m very proud of myself.. 🥲 I just wish I could talk myself into trying to find love again though.. 🥺

I also had a situation with TSA. I'm a female and they made it seem like I had no choice. The woman very bluntly told me "either you allow me to pat you down right here in the open, or you go for a strip search in the back. I was mortified. I chose the first option.
