Interesting. How is the new river walk/suspended walkway I hear about going? will that reach as far as this section?

I don't know. I was only in Ronda for six days. I think I saw the walkway you mention, along the side of the cliff? It was closed and it seemed too risky for the public, unless they put up a guardrail. This area is below that path.

Great video! It is an old world left over. But research meltology. We live on the remains of a melted/electrified old (brick) world. Sounds crazy, isn't it? But evidence is every where. 👍

Are these places for sale? So sad to see such beautiful history just rot away. Would be amazing to reclaim them to their original beauty.

They are not for sale. They're part of a nature reserve and I believe they're considered historical buildings/landmarks. It's sad that all the secluded cortijos are in such a ruinous state, though. I've wondered why the structures collapsed relatively fast.

Was it a factory or mill possibly forr

I'm actually not sure. All the other mill ruins I've seen have been obvious mills. This was a large complex. Maybe I can dig something up on the internet.

@@HolaWorld it was Central Electric company. An old hydroelectric plant from the early 1900’s. I did this trail back in September. Incredible day. My path took me the opposite way round to yours. I don’t know if it just didn’t make the edit, or if you missed it, but there’s a path way down there which takes you even closer to the bridge. When you look down there’s one of the natural pool area. I’d have loved to have gone further but you needed a rope and harness to go further. Amazing day nonetheless, highly recommend it. Bring mosquito spray!
