There are several different tips and tricks to best utilize it. In this video, I will be going over what I've been doing to maximize my Stardust yields and to properly use this device with my daily Pokémon GO play!

You should really get that 7 hours (or more) of actual sleep a day. Not for your buddy but for your body. It's one of the key ingredients to better longevity.

As a diagnosed narcoleptic I can attest to how important sleep is, but with work, chores, and all the running around we have to do in our days how do you find time to sleep 7+ hours to sleep?

@@Eviloops 7 to 9 hours is the standard yes however I know lots of people who can function off 4-5 hours sleep and others who need 10-12 hours like myself (especially after working out hard or exhausting labour). Ive heard of tests you can do to find out and will add that to this when I find it.

Hey buddy -Check your magnesium level. Take epsom salt baths, sounds cliche but that's magnesium sulfate and makes you naturally sleepy ​@johnscogin5057

The Pokémon go, plus plus was a game changer for me. I live in an area with not a lot of PokéStops, so I was having to buy poké balls sometimes. This really annoyed me. Now I have the device in my pocket all the time when I’m out, and once a week on the weekend, I drive around the local College and collect hundreds of pokey balls without even having the game open. Enough to be able to use the auto catcher for Spotlight hours, and community days. Anytime really, though. Love this device.

It’s literally got a yellow stripe… that’s it the rest of the ball is black.

So many people (me included) have an issue with the vibration and lack of functionality to turn that off. I simply opened up the plus plus, and removed the sautered connection between the black and red wires on the board leading to the spinning motor. It’s now completely silent. :) If you remove the weight from the motor rod it will still make quite a bit of noise and drain battery.

I don’t understand this. You can turn off Pikachu’s voice in settings, and if you put it in a pocket you don’t see lights or hear it. People have been way too harsh with this device.

​@@Rose_Jyou really don't hear it in a pocket? I have covered it in clothes and put it inside a closed luggage and even then I hear it 😅 no way I can use it at work for example, even if it's inside a pocket or inside the backpack. Mine at least vibrates way too much

The issue with disabling auto catch in order to have it spin more stops: when there is something available to catch, the autocatcher gets stuck selected on the pokemon and wont spin stops that can be spun

So with this, when driving does it have the speed check with it meaning it won’t auto catch while driving on the highway let’s say? And also, can you still get the sleeping snorlax with this or was that a timed event and can no longer be caught??

as long ur going under 30-40 mph itll spin n catch. and you get the snorlax (catching zzs) special research as soon as u connect it

What is the range on the device that it can still be paired with your phone? Also can it be turned off or have settings changed completely independently of the app? For instance, if I am at lunch with the device hidden in my bag or coat pocket, do I need to physically handle the Plus+ to turn it off or change settings or can I do that from my phone? Also if I am playing PoGO and I need to open another app and have to background PoGO, will I need to re-pair the Plus+? Will I need to do that if I background PoGO and (as sometimes is the case) when I reopen the game it has to relaunch?

for popping star pieces with the adventure sync, do you mean that you only sync the device once per week? or how does that work

Nono the device you do daily. But for Monday, connect the device to collect sleep rewards AFTER popping a Star Piece around the time the weekly adventure sync rewards are collected. That way off of one Star Piece, you get boosted Stardust for both the weekly Adventure Sync and Sleep Tracking.

Mine just stopped working one day, and wouldn't go on for a week...today I noticed the tiny button on the back I THOUGHT was a screw may have been a reset switch. Now it WON'T flash lights, and just has pikachu laughing...didn't even know it could do that, just thought it sang to sleep, then woke up...still won't connect.

Is it a click-up or click-down when you use ultra or great balls? In other words, can you hold down the button to use the UB or GB? If you can hold down the button to catch mons, on community days, this would be amazing.

if the buzzing gets on your nerves - shove that thing in a koozie with a bottom, shove it in the front of your bag. Works great, and is near silent.

This thing does not accurately track your hours of sleep at all. I would say about 95% of the time it tells me I only slept four hours which gives me like 1200 stardust instead of 2400(ish🤷‍♂️)

Hello, I have an issue with the device. Evry night it only tracks maximum of 4 hours of sleep even though I sleep for 8 to 9 hours. Also when catching pokemon I have to reconnect the debvice so often I barely use it anymore. It is just...so annoying and useless. The only thing that works is auto spinning pokestops when i have screen on. Otherwise this product is not working for me. What a disappointing experience.

Thanks for the tips, but I delete 600 red balls and 300 blue balls at minimum every day. I would like to have a hack for ot to only auto throw blue or yellow balls.

No you can’t, if it’s set to sleep mode then it will automatically turn off the sleep mode once you connect to the Pokémon go app and start catching Pokémon

It doesn't auto catch with those, turn off auto catch and leave identify pokemon on, when it marks them tap the plus plus button to use great or ultra balls dependent on which one you picked...those are manual, not auto

The catch rate with the plus+ is abysmal though. Runs through balls with little actually caught. I had to slog to get all Snorlax and go back to my gotcha as soon as I finished. For me a much higher catch rate for amount of balls wasted.

I agree. It’s rare for me to use an auto catcher for actually catching. The exception has been adverse weather and a spotlight hour with an easy to catch mon. I was only explaining this to a friend yesterday that auto catchers waste so many balls. Being rural it takes forever to get a decent amount of balls back again.

I wish you could changed targets when looking at the screen. They should of made the white and red part of the poke ball buttons we could use to cycle through pokemon/pokestops. I also wish you could set pokestops as a priority over nearby pokemon bc if there is a lot it will catch them before turning to pokestops nearby . Or even set a list of 20 priority pokemon to pick out of the crowed when walking. Even tho I have it I still always feel the need to look incase I'm missing something.

No, you have to select which ball to use. So if you select ultra balls and run out, it’s not gonna start using other balls, it’ll just stop catching until you go into the settings and pick a different ball to auto catch with

Idk if you still need help since this comment is 12 days old but someone else who needs it could also see it. Great and Ultra balls only throw with the button pushing as we know, but I found I had to disable auto throw if I wanted to manually throw my chosen pokéball. Otherwise it defaulted to the regular pokéballs.
