What do you mean with "tailor your team around a bunch of Mega Gengar"? I dont think anyone I know is going to use a Mega that wouldnt boost candies. It isnt a strong raid boss and doesnt require many people, most of which will have some Metagrossesses and a Necrozma at this stage

i miss safari balls.... takiong it down is not really an issue but catching it sucks.... it move too much and kicks outs too much, catch rate is like 50% of total raids done... and its not even weather boosted. bro....

I use the go plus plus when I do my daily run. I have found that the auto catch gives me XP but I get zero star dust.

I plan to use Mega Diancie as a rock type attacker also for the XL candies

I would also recommend mega Aerodactyl as it can also give you boosted chance to get xl candies for Enamorous... however, its pretty frail 😅

Keep your dudes healthy after fights and you will have the strongest recommendations.....you only need like 3 people to beat a raid ....if you tap left to right, the pokedude doges....whichever your using at the time to battle. Which makes each pokedude last longer in battles. Even when I win a battle and catch the win, if I have more passes I keep going for the team so everyone has a chance because I am a good friend. I'm still learning. Playing for my kiddo. Trying to get GMA to play too 😂❤

Quick question, Is the increased Guaranteed lucky trade only for the event period or it's a permanent change?

Raids crash all the time by me, even though the raid had just started. Seriously, there's like 40 minutes left on a raid and it still crashes, with a message saying it expired. Then there's the near constant freezing when catching Pokémon. With many Pokémon I try to catch, game freezes.

I occasionally play but when evaluating my games i determined the result was mostly rng and my control mainly ended with building the deck so i cant count it among the games i play counting on good strategy to carry me. We need some additional aspect to remove some rng and putting back some of the rewards for building a good strat...a side deck for 3rd stages instead of a draw phase perhaps

Question: if both people still have luck trades left and one person trades the guaranteed lucky, does the counter increase for both or just the one that traded the guaranteed Pokemon? I’ve always been unclear on this…

Too bad there's no way to see how many guaranteed lucky trades you've made so far. I'm pretty sure I'm still at 10 as I specifically avoid trading any pokemon from the requisite years since it went up from 10 a while back. Waiting for the right time for legendaries to reach the guaranteed area for mirror trades for optimal lucky trading.

Is the 35 limit only for the time span of this event or going forward

To bad it only happens if their close. Most friends are in other countries , so it’s a moot point for many. Especially remote areas.

I am so excited that we finally get shiny Scatterbug! I have been preparing all along and have almost 3,500 Scatterbug candy 😅 I only have one hundo so far out of 651 caught and I do regularly engage with this feature so fingers crossed that I've been saving up good luck for a shundo! Not sure if I'll really take advantage of the extra trading but I'm excited for my cousin who is on the level of the game where she needs lucky trades in order to level up.

is the guaranteed lucky trade per account or per friend like 35lucky trade from friendA then you could get another 35 from friendB or is it if you reach your guaranteed 35 lucky then its back to random chance

Makes sense. Have been playing since day 1. Now have two accounts. Purely started the second account few years ago purely becoz i got bored and frustrated with going hard core with primary account and no getting enough back. Nowadays i only play meta relevant pokemon comm days and raid days. Rest of days jst maintaining the streaks. :)

New Pokemon in raids isn't a big deal to me. We get one free raid a day and have been getting two for a bit now and will for another 27 days. So I don't see the problem there.

So … I have done dozens of Lucky Trades, well over 35. But they are not all from the old trades. What are we counting. Total Lucky Trades? Or just the old Pokemon trades?

I got a Q: lets say you have the elusive sandstorm gift/postcard from a friend. If I hold on to that gift and wait to open it up till this event...can it be shiny? Or does the stamp/date on the gift/card offer this shiny opportunity?
