Once again, the Word and everything in it proves to be the most poetic, astounding thing. The number of cross-references in the Bible is amazing enough to me, but the connections in the Hebrew language blow me away with every bit of information i learn. Nothing we write with human knowledge alone will ever compare

Just started learning Hebrew and one of the things I've learned is that Hebrew word order is a lot different than that of the English language. It is a more verb oriented language and the words are jumbled up as compared to English. In English, we normally have a subject, a verb, and then a direct object in that order. In Hebrew they put an alef and a tav, et, in front of direct objects in order to clarify that they are direct objects and not subjects and not verbs. God bless you.
@milesreynolds49432 жыл бұрын
Bereshit 27:3... is a clear example that aleph tav is not used for this purpose... The aleph tav is a symbol of God's covenant with man... If you read the book of Ruth... during the period of her disinheritance she loses the 'et'... but after being redeemed by boaz and hence being able to form the bloodline to Christ through David she regains her 'et'... There are plenty of other examples of this like when Esau traded away his inheritance to Jacob

Hi Chris! Very interesting explanation of Aleph. As you pointed out, the original symbol for 'A' was an Ox head, the head could represent oneness as in אחד Achad, meaning 'One God',. The Ox has Two Horns, the Two aspects of God, Father and Son, acting in unity, as in Achad. Hope you find this interesting.

Aleph = the All in One in All I am That I am = I am That which is. I = which Am = is That which is/That I am. The yoke of my Wisdom is easy and my burden of Understanding Light. The Light of Wisdom and Understanding dispels the darkness of ignorance and folly. From the beginning of language was the Word of Truth, ever faithful (loyal, true, isomorphic) to Reality (That which is), and the Word of Truth was with Reality and was Reality, manifesting as the metaphorical Light of Wisdom and Understanding unto the darkness of ignorance and folly; yet those dwelling in the darkness of their ignorance comprehended not the metaphorical meaning of the Word of Truth, and continued in the folly of their justification of literalism. That which is, that is nothing in particular (actual), is by definition everything in general (potential). Potential = Being Actual = Becoming (actualized) Since is not, is not; That which is, is All-inclusive, Absolute, Infinite, Eternal. Since the potential for actualization is Infinite, the actualization of potential is Eternal, for only Eternity can fully embrace Infinity. We actualize Infinite Creative potential, by dreaming our experience (rehearsing the future), and experiencing our dream.

Hi Chris! I can see you have a strong Faith and a Love of Hebrew. As you point out, we should all learn Biblical Hebrew to understand the full meaning of the Word of God. Most of what we are presented with comes from the work of Scholars, but I think sometimes they are wrong in their reasoning. For example, the Names of God you mentioned that. begin with א Aleph, when translated by the experts, change the Aleph into an 'E' as shown in your example. There is no 'E' in the Hebrew Alphabet. Also 'El' is a Cananite god of storms, so changing Aleph to 'E' is changing the Creators Name to pagan. Most of these changes came from the Masorets with their vowel pointing. Further coruption to Hebrew came from the European Jewish language revival that resurrected the spoken word. By using their dots and dashes they changed the sound of letters, turning 'B' Bayt into 'V' and 'A' Alaph into 'E' for example, Avraham instead of Abraham and Elohim instead of Alahaym. I know this is controversial, but I feel we should look into this a bit more. What do you thin Chris?

James the English letters have words inside of words also The 1611 1st edition All of the letters are styled to have words inside of words that preempt any progressive Hebrew that you're learning now You can actually know the name of the woman who was brought in the temple before Jesus It also dispels many Hebrew myths. English was designed to go around the world All language had intrinsic value until they shut it off between the 1600s and the 1800s Now you just get 10% of the iceberg with what you see written On the line

@ 12.34 - 13.00 - You say that the 3 elements of ALEPH represents the trinity??????? That's a COLOSSAL deviation from the CORRECT explanation which you carefully just explained, namely, that ALEPH represents GOD, (one & alone) MAN, and the TORAH. No trinity! Nothing about Jesus or the holy spirit mentioned. We shouldn't INSERT meanings into things, to help bolster our personal dogmas.

@Feezwa Жыл бұрын
Jesus is the English name. Iesous is the Greek name. Yeshua/Yehoshua is the Hebrew name from Galilee. So we have: Yeshua ---> Iesous ---> Jesus. The 72 rabbi that translated, in old Greek from Hebrew, the Old Testament in the III-rd century before Christ, in Alexandria, known as *The Septuagint*, translated Jesus's name "Yehoshua/Yeshua" to "Iesous". It is wrong to try to corelate directly the English name "Jesus" with the Hebrew Aleph-Beith (Alphabet). You have to dig deeper to other languages to get a glimpse of why and how. The subject is far from being exhausted and even nowdays there is so much research done.

10 the number of Sephirot..the ten spheres of creation...the meaning or connection of the aleph depends on the doctrine you follow. the original view doesnt say ¨jesus¨ jews do not beleive in three gods in one, bu in one only God and we are all sparks of that god, not only ¨jesus¨.. the two yods represent two hands the upper hand gives to the vav and the vav gives to the lower yod, it reflects Charity, one love because in judaism God is no man nor woman but a combination of female and male energies without form emaneting love Aleph is teaching us to share with others, what we get from GOd to share with god, for that there is no need of New testament, it is all taught in the old testament. the new testament it is structure as to say ¨this means jesus, and that means jesus¨"and then by learning a few words of hebrew, now there is a current of messianic freaks, a form of elitism over other christians, but the problem still remains and all christians feeli it by now. that something is wrong with the structure and narrow doctrines limiting the infiniteness of God, then they go in circle quoting the new testament that was compiled as a ¨book of letters¨ centuries after jesus died. Jesus was not a crhistian, he was a jew and he did ot follow th enew testament but the torah, he didnt even resurrect on saturday because he respected shabbat..all the changes came after Paul arrived. Paul was a cosmopolitan jew from turkey (tarsus) He was even a ¨roman¨ citizen which was the ultimate contradiction for a jew, because a righteous jew would never be a Roman. TTHe romans could not stand jews because jews were monotheistics and would not accpet the pagan cusstoms of that empire. then ironically it is a a ¨roman¨ jew, used to gentiles and other such people, to appeared as a new christian, wrote letters, most of them antisemitic, except the letters to the romans, because he knew that in rome there were educated jews like himself that would not tolerate his anti jew ranting, so we see Paul flipping back and fourth in some letters politically correct and not in other. Christians by not knowing the history of the early christianity when they were observing shabbat in synagogues, and respecting torah and learning the misteries of the faith before the Roman empeire got involved three centuries later, compiling a new doctrine, enforcing the new testament under penaltiy of death to those christians sho did not accept catholicism, it is like that that those doctrines remained until the reformation. the reformation more or less did worse than thge catholic church because they continue reading the wrong translations of the bibles , continiue with antisemitism, and the ignorance that the original catholic church had left them as a legacy to inherit d

this is pure heresy: Prosinaitic hebrew was never a prelude to the hebrew alphabet. as written in the Talmud the letters of the Torah preceede the creation of the world, and as written in the Zohar, the hebrew alphabet is not agreed upon but the letters' shape preexist us and is revealed, imposed, unchangeable. Adam wrote and read in this alphabet. Abraham wrote a whole book (Sefer Yezira) about the manipulation of the hebrew letters. The archeolog heretics come up with a lot of theories with 0 proof to sustain them, but with some money and a little bit of lobbying you can convince the people of anything.

God did not create the alphabet the alphabet is the word In the alphabet which makes the word was with God. You accidentally lined up with Alexander in text Saying that God created the word It's like Jehovah's witness it's a progressive thinking. Hebrew is wonderful but the modern and now Hebrew is highly progressive Leading us away from Christ. Yes the alphabet is the word and God did not create the word the word was with God. Be careful everyone is fawning over this Hebrew. And they are nothing more than anti Christ. Mashiach And messiah are 2 different words. The one comes on to the world scene and demands world peace Being against the elect. The other comes and wipes away the world and begins brand new

@beverleysmith34013 жыл бұрын
What a load of twaddle! You understand little about the Hebrew language or grammar and can't even pronounce the words. It's misleading to call the Paleo-Hebrew letters pictographs as they only represented the sound of the letters and not their meaning (as found in Chinese script, for instance). They were used by many races in the near east, whether they were Israelite or not, so had no extra meaning special to the Israelite faith. There can't be any hidden biblical meaning in the shape of the modern Aramaic script either because it originated in Syria and wasn't adopted by the Israelites until around 400BC, long after the bible was written. את wasn't mysteriously 'omitted' from the English bible and has no mystical significance in being used in the first sentence. It is simply a preposition used to introduce a direct object and is used over 7000 times in the Old Testament in all situations. It is needed to say "I am eating את the apple", which has no hidden meaning. Many English words spell other words within. The word 'boat' has nothing to do with snakes (boa) or cereal crops (oat). It also contains 'at' (Hebrew את) - oo... do you think that could be mystically significant? This whole study is based on man-made fanciful imaginings, whether from Jewish mystics or modern 'winds of teaching' (look up Ephesians 4:14) and is in the same vain as astrology and numerology, neither of which should be practised by Christians.
