In the absolutely amazing but often forgotten Brothers in Arms game, Road to Hill 30, the game takes place over the span of 1 week in WW2. During the game you see your squad mates go from healthy and clean shaven, so slowly growing beards, gaunt from eating less and being stressed, and forgoing shaving and some having a few days worth of beard. It's a tiny detail that sells how drained that 1 week in France made them.

In GTA4, the sat nav sound is actually the sounds from the NYC subway system. It's the sound cue that plays after the announcer says to stand clear of closing doors when departing a station. "Stand clear of closing doors please" *Bing bong*

Great vid! A small detail I love is in Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the Isle of Skye dlc. If you go to roughly where Staffin is on the island of Skye, and look around the beach, you can find Dino footprints. That's because in real life there are fossilised Dino prints there! I only found it because I love Skye and have been many times and thought to go look. A great wee hidden detail that I haven't seen mentioned before.

In Prey (2017), every time you select the wrench, the character will throw it and grab it in the air, but if you're in a zero gravity area and select the wrench, the character will just hold it since throwing it would make it float away. Also, still in a zero gravity area, when you use a fire weapon, the recoil will push you back a little, you can see that by looking at the 'm/s' HUD when firing.

I'm not sure if you've covered this but in arkham knight when you go to the ace chemicals plant and get inside at the part where you have to go through the rooms and let the car through, in the room that has a bounch of enemies to fight if you let the car through before you fight them the enemys will hide in a separate room (sorry if I explained that poorly)

Love all the L4D2 stuff we've gotten recently, still my all-time favorite game. I don't recall if this has already been done on here, but on Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm 1 the different factions have different running animations. So for instance, the Americans and Russians run with their rifle in both hands whereas the Japanese and Germans sprint with the rifle in one hand. Not only is it a cool little historical detail, but it helps to identify targets if you can't quite make them out.

In Destiny 2, there are some guns that can change when in use. There are some scout rifles that have fluid on the side that depletes every time you shoot. Another detail and my favourite is when you have a hand cannon equipped, slowly pushing your controller trigger down, the hammer will slowly cock back until finally shooting.

There are alot of details in Metal Gear Solid games, while on the topic of 2 after your 1st meeting with Vamp as Raiden you will meet snake who introduces himself as Pliskin, after the cutscene if you aim your gun at snake he will aim back, shoot him and he will shoot your ass. Another one is with the soldiers, if you shoot one of their arm they will not be able to use their weapon as it's an AR and needs 2 hands to use, if you shoot one of their leg they will start limping and if you shoot out their radio they can't call for backup when you get discovered.

I don't know if this was already covered, but in Resident Evil 4 (2023), the first house you enter lets you go upstairs as a means of exit, but if instead of entering the room to trigger the cutscene you look along the wall to the right you'll find a mounted animal skull, which is suspiciously similar to the animal skull in RE:Village, obtainable as a key item after the fight in the armory.

I just wanna say a little cool things in hitman relating to suits and disguises again So there is 2 things, first, some starting suits will give some perks, such as the midnight black suit letting you into yates yard on mendoza, the white shadow/ninja making hokkaido hostile, and the requim and tactical wetsuit giving 2 exits on mendoza. Secondly, some suits and disguises get unique comments, such as Santa 47, the plague doctor on sapienza, the white shadow/ninja, and a few other. And of course, lower level guards get more respect when being denied entry than say, a random shopkeeper disguise

Don’t know if you’ve already done this detail, but in Overwatch if you shoot each character they will “bleed” two different liquids. Oil for robot characters being black in colour and blood for every other character being red in colour. The thing I like most about this detail is that characters like genji who are mostly cybernetic also bleed red showing that they’re still human

Because I've been playing it on PS5, I put it in rest mode at one point and came back only for it to after a bit, Tell me I've played for 24 hours straight. And the narrator and pop-ups get a bit more "Hey you should probably go do something"

in PS1/PSX game "brave fencer musashi" there's one mission to save a child villager with a limited time, there's 2 outcome wether if we succeed or fail, if we fail we can't buy any recovery item until the end of the chapter story, if we succeed we can get special item to learn skill. it's just interesting that in old game failing something can even affect the whole npc involved

List of details from roblox arsenal, all discovered by me so i didnt steal anything: On the dizzy map at the very top of the crane you could find a msg saying hello On the lodgeworks map, if you go onto the roof and then fall off into a fully enclosed by bushes area (from the biggest most elevated part of the roof) there will be a sign that says ur not supposed to be here and it kills you since you cant get back out On the midtown map if you go up the concrete slope on the left side of the map, there will be a striped barrier. Meleeing the barrier will break it, go to the area behind it and melee one of the windows, revealing an office with old laptops. There is definetely more to this easter egg, see if any of the computers do anything or just look further into this particular easter egg.

Another detail with the GTA4 GPS systems. Modern but more common cars will have a peppy male voice that's reminiscent of the old Tom Tom systems from the early 2000's, and modern luxury cars will have a more refined sounding female voice. Also sometimes the female voice will actually say "bing bong" instead of the usual tone.
