I find it funny how scaffolding assets in a raid added 10 years ago serve as platforms for a new class to climb. nice video!

It's honestly hilarious that this purely decorative bit of raid design allows you to explore vastly more of the Sunwell than you'd normally be able to.

Awesome video as usual!! The reason those untargetable demons, M'uru, the eredar and Anvina are visible is because of the orb near the balcony were you jumped onto the planter. That orb shows you a mini tour of the raid as part of one of Magister's Terrace dungeon quests.

I cant remember the countless hours i spent running in circles outside SW while my guild was doing progression raids. I was a warrior tank sub. I didnt go into SW for about a month, until they finally had the first 3-4 bosses on farm. I only killed kil jaden once, than basicly stopped raiding (except for karazhan, which i did every week start to finish of expansion), and mostly played the wrath ptr.

So weird to see the changes in instanced Quel'danas between this and the Sunwell raid. They're so similar but a lot of things are in different places.

@ovolmase67246 жыл бұрын
8:37 you claim that Anveena and the eredar aren't visible anywhere from Magister's terrace.. this is false.. there's an activatable Orb after the first boss, a bit before the area you're standing at the beginning of the video, which starts a cinematic that takes the camera past all the unintractable demons into the Sunwell room past M'uru and down to Anveena and the Eredar.
@HiddenAzeroth6 жыл бұрын
Oh damn, that's a really good point. Thank you for pointing that out!

Yeah that Orb was part of the orginal questline for the Terrace back in TBC, You would click it watch the cutscene and then Kalec would fly down to the balcony to give you the next part of the questline.
@jordanread58296 жыл бұрын
It isn't directly after the first boss. The orb is after the 2nd boss, on the balcony that the video actually starts from.

Both sound awesome~ I explored a little of Neltharion's Lair a while back, and it has a load more space than just what you go through when doing a normal run from the looks of it. Also! Invasion points! I'm not actually sure how many of them can be broken out of, but Val at least can be explored(and has a hidden roasted slug outside of the map). The area near the entrance can be climbed with Infernal Strike.
@mobbel146 жыл бұрын
Have you been outside of Stratholme yet? (The Classic instance, not the culling one) There is a super easy way to get out right at the beginning, and outside is crazy.
@HiddenAzeroth6 жыл бұрын
I haven't, but it's on my list of future videos. I considered doing it the week after my Culling of Stratholme episode, but I felt like since I'd done Durnholde and Shadowfang the previous two weeks, I wanted to do somewhere with different architecture. I will get back to it eventually though!
@mobbel146 жыл бұрын
Well bad news. I was visiting the map outside of Stratholme again, and it changed to the last time i was out of there. It gotten a good deal smaller and good juicy stuff was removed. Last time i was there, there were random buildings on the untextured/missing terrain area as well other random bits and pieces. Well, the last time i checked that map was Cataclysm. However, after seeing how broken the Demonhunter is, its fun to explore other areas, not only dungeons. The Bloodelf starting area and the Ghostlands are a very good candidate to explore. Since they are still from the TBC era, with flying being restricted, lots of interesting landmarks.

Is it possible to explore the inaccessible dome in Draenor Shattrath? I know it was a scrapped raid or something and I've always wondered if there was anything of interest inside.
@HiddenAzeroth6 жыл бұрын
So far as I'm aware there's nothing inside the dome. They never got around to designing an interior to the city, so there's just an empty hole where it was going to be.

I didn't know the gates had names ! What were they ? :)
@JakeSPuwuowo696 жыл бұрын
It's nuts how much you can bypass certain areas. I have a question and I know the answer is very likely a solid "no" but I have to wonder anyhow, in the Antoran Wastes, north of Felfire Armory and south of The Spirit Crucible, there is a bridge leading west with several strong elite NPCs and some on the bridge as well. Even worse, being on the bridge starts to inflict unreasonably high damage onto you. The bridge would in theory lead to an uninstanced version of Antorus, the Burning Throne, but it looks impossible to get through without being killed. Is there a way?
@HiddenAzeroth6 жыл бұрын
I've run down the bridge once by mistake, but I haven't done any further exploration into whether theres a way to negate the damage. I'll look into it at some point! (Although it may be a little while, my next few videos are going to be on explorations in the BFA beta)

@HiddenAzeroth6 жыл бұрын
There's a bunch of instances where they layer/selectively render stuff so that areas appear a lot larger than they really are. It's a really neat way to save space and connect areas that shouldn't be able to seamless lead into each other.

I feel sorry for the blood elves/high elves (pretty much the same people in lore) first they lose their ranger general to the dark portal (wc2) then their sunwell get's attacked by the scourge, then they loose their other ranger general (and her sister) to them (wc3), then the alliance put garithos in charge who used them, ignored them and then put them in freaking JAIL of all places because he didn't listen to their warning's and blamed THEM for it (wc3 tft). (**SPOILERS FOR BFA ALLIED RACE AHEAD, BEWARE**) Then after they decide to join the horde because, well look at what the representative to the allinace did to them; it's more evil than garrosh and his time-travel actions or the bombing of theramore! Only to find the alliance welcoming in the void elves who previously tried to take down their sunwell again; after they just recovered from kael'thas AND the scourge! The Blood elves have been abused by so many people, including their once former allies. I don't hate alliance (got a toon on their) but the alliance are far from the good guys. In the lore book "Warcraft: lord of clans" based on the cancelled PnC game of the same name; it even shows some of the alliance racist to dwarves. Yes, their own dwarves as well! What irks me is, after all this; even blizzard saying there are no "good guys" or "bad guys", if you play a panda and get to the faction choice; they literally wrote them as "good guy", "bad guy". Blizzard, contradicting and retconning themselves since MoP :/
@ninaloveray6 жыл бұрын
Wacka Doodle they never lost their ranger general to the dark portal, if you’re talking abut Alleria she wasn’t the ranger general because she declined that position and joined the rangers instead which afterwards led her to join the Alliance of Lordaeron and then the Draenor expedition. And during the scourge invasion Sylvanas was the ranger general and she never lost any of her sisters because Vereesa is still alive but she wasn’t in Quel’thalas during the invasion i think while Alleria was lost beyond the dark portal at that time.
