I have to say i haven't been turned off by one of your guests as fast as I was for this gentleman. It wasn't because of who he is as a person, he seems very kind, intelligent, and Im sure he is very intresting to listen to when he is being genuine. That is not what we got. As soon as he led with the Republican party has "changed" more than Democrats, I knew he was towing the line. He is shilling in a very intellectually dishonest way, and I very much appreciate you challanging him on the current status of Democrats. The most honest you got him was when he admitted that Congress could declassify anything, and then you confronted him with the facts of "Then why..." are we chasing our tails about redacted 28 pages, and UAPs why would someone in Congress just declassify it. His answer was obscured but it is there to be heard, money, power, fear of being destroyed for doing the right thing. He didnt answer it direct, but I think it is there if you listen. He made it very difficult with the propaganda and for that, I dont trust him or feel that he is being genuine. He is a politician still serving his masters.

The lead Republican candidate said in a debate that Haitian immigrants were eating pets. The lead Republican candidate has hosted actual (not rhetorical) neo-nazis at his mansion in Florida. The lead Republican candidate has said he will only accept the results of an election if he wins. The Democrats are exactly who they were for the last 40 years. Which is a center right, neoliberal party that pays lip service to social causes while just trying to keep business going as usual. That's not a party line, that's the actual stuff they have passed. Guns weren't banned. Borders weren't opened. Speech wasn't outlawed. Taxes weren't raised. Tariffs weren't listed. Kids weren't forced to use pronouns.

Thank you for saving me 1 hour and 13 minutes of my time. I hear enough politically charged bullshit already

This man’s life perspectives are so incredibly convoluted. Praising classical liberalism from one corner of his mouth then making excuse after excuse for the actions he and his ilk in congress have taken yet no acknowledgement of their consequences. Politicians are a dangerous breed.

As a foreigner looking in, I have to agree. It appears that, that is the requirement to be a US politician and deal with all the Manipulation the US has been doing across the planet.

I would like to hear his answer on the dancing Israelis (celebrating on a distant Jersey rooftop), that were arrested and released on that day. I first thought it was just fake news but it's officially documented.

@@jameselliott9866 Look it up. It was reported on the New York Times and Israeli Haaretz. I'm reading the old CBS News follow up now: "June 21 - Millions saw the horrific images of the World Trade Center attacks, and those who saw them won't forget them. But a New Jersey homemaker saw something that morning that prompted an investigation into five young Israelis and their possible connection to Israeli intelligence." But if you don't believe that, how do you feel about the 8 June 1967 attack on the USS Liberty? That one is undisputed and totally messed up.

Excellent analysis Demetri. Appreciate your keen insights. Listening to senator Kerry I sense that he believes the democratic project that the US represents is still fundamentally working and viable. Whereas the disillusionment of many of us leads to the realization that the system as ideally conceived is broken to the core.

A politician who loses his leg is disadvantaged. Why? Because then he only has one foot to put in his mouth.

Like many politicians, he has a slick tongue and has no shortage of compliments. However, indid like some of what he had to say. Specifically, the level of power held by certain agencies or parts of government. The ability to check the power of the intelligence agencies is crucial. A strong government can do that. Seeing the SEC run amok the last couple years has been infuriating. Check and balances!!

What motive would the Saudi government have to make such an attack on their allies and business partners? That makes no sense. What makes more sense is that the Saudi's might depart from the petro-dollar system, and could be blackmailed with threat of military action, if they did so depart, under the pretext that they be framed for the WTC. Which is more likely in your estimation?
