The byakugan is equal to the rinnegan imo, otherwise the otsutsuki wouldn't have the byakugan as their main eye with rinnegan as an extra gimmick like momoshikis rinnegan that he basically only used to absorb and release jutsu. Him being able to see someone's fate with his byakugan is a much greater power than anything we've seen with rinnegan imo though limbo and amenotejikara are both useful jutsu as well.. seeing the future will always beat techniques that only work in the present. Urashikis ability with his rinnegan to rewind time after experiencing something is a good ability but felt like a filler thing. Even nejis byakugan gave him so much insight he felt he could basically get a feeling for how a person was just by observation. Idk I think people overhyped the sharingan when comparing it to byakugan, just my opinion.

Like vs Kakuzu instead of that bs fight when kakuzu let himself get hit by rasenshuriken, we could have Yamato spamming mokuton to inmobilize him aand then Naruto get the kill. Same with other bs fights. Have Hyuugas specially Neji as a genius do the main part of the combat, lets say in damage regard or overwhelming the enemy with palms, leaving them unguarded and then Naruto use talk no jutsu or just rasengan them off

Most of Naruto or Sasuke plot armor wins could be easily have taken place with the likes of Neji, Guy, Kakashi, Yamato, etc. being the main source of damage or overall combat outcome but they combine with Naruto finishing enemies off with Rasengans or Talk no jutsu. In Sasuke's case would be Taka, Akatsuki, Orochi, depending on his allies at that moment. Like Sasuke Vs Bee, it was clear if Taka didn't help him he would had died. I truly believe the Hyuuga needed more attention in the show and Neji getting Jounin early could had bring the clan to shine. Would be nice to see the higher ranks demonstrate why they achieved their ranks in capacity and overall combat experience

The hyuga are truly the pride of the leaf, they’re so op, Neji took the hyuga to a whole new level, infact, all of Gai’s team took taijutsu in general to a new level (including tenten bc she’s canonically a master of all weapons), Neji displayed not only extreme genius in taijutsu, but in chakra control, and knowing his own weaknesses and applying them strategically in battle

To this day i still believe he was the only one that could take on Kidomaru at this point. Sensory wise, chakra control wise, and speed wise in terms of dodging. The others that are fast at this point dont have THAT kind of speed in terms of reflexes, other than MAYBE Lee. But he doesn't have the vision. Sasuke gas the vision, but doesn't have the reflex speed as seen in the fight after this

at this stage kidomaru alone could solo naruto and others, his arsenal is pretty good hiding, sniping, summoning, wits... he figured byakugan's weakness and all naruto: would spam kage bunshin, get sniped kiba: would sniff kido's place out, but would get sniped anyway shikamaru: would get sniped before he can come up with a plan even if shikamaru came up with a plan and get kido in the shadow technique, he has no means to defend against mom spider and little ones

He used it to break out of kisames water prison with ease to save the team and even kisame admitted if he didn't have the sword he would of been finish by the first strike of that air palm. So the sword almost died instead if he didn't have Chakra stored because neji saw through it and that that sword was alive with his byakugan. That kid was not a joke and he saved gaara taild beast against those giant chains that nobody else was able to in the show. He deserves more respect and credit for being such an op character at a very young age. This is why he was avoided the whole time and even danzo refused to go anywhere near a hyuga with his sharingans

And then we never see a Hyuga of full potential in action, in a proper fight . When Guy incapacitated Madara for a while , Lee , Neji , Hinata even Sakura , anyone with a bit of decent Taijutsu skill should have jumped him to deal a bit more damage... But Neji was dead and the rest were just standing and watching. I never understood why they let Guy's sacrifice go to waste , meanwhile Naruto started flying and giving people life .. such a waste of good world building

No bullshit jutsu bigger than the everest. I know there is some megazord fight back in part one already (gamabunta) but it was pretty rare and casting a very huge jutsu was considered an insane feat back in those days, there was limitation.

I always thought neji's potential was severely reduced because of huga traditions, their ideology to stick only to their clan techniques like 8 trigrams and 64 palms They have so much more potential the huga are the only ones who can release chakra from all of the tenketsu points not even genius like Kakashi and Minato can do that meaning if they are creative they can use it in infinite ways like using vaccum palm from any tenketsu points in their body including feets then they can fucking fly With byakugan they could have become the greatest sniper in the world but no They can see through chakra in anyone with clear precision meaning they can become great medicine ninja especially with their excellent chakra control We saw how neji easily cracked a sealing jutsu in one of the filler arcs since they can see chakra running through the sealing jutsu they have very high potential of becoming a great sealing clan like the uzumakis And finally summoning technique their only Chance to go against a susanoo or jinchuriki is summoning jutsu but guess what none of them for some reason don't have it There are several other creative ways to improve their strength like adding steel needles with 64 or 128 palms to have a mid to long range attack or add elemental boosts like lighting cloak to increase their taijutsu abilities

Always thought about the flying technique. Its basically chakra control, forcing it to lift their bodies and move at high speed. Easily takes less chakra than kaiten. The elemental part sounds really nice. About summoning i think its a very underrated jutsu in general. When they need to rush to a place lets say catch Sasuke in this arc. Boom giant Toad, take us there. I know Gamabunta wouldn't help at this point but you get the idea, its almost never used for that matter. About susanoo its really a giant Chakra cloak. With enough chakra the Hyuuga could mold at least a mini Susanoo and with practice and teaching others, soon enough they could reach the levels of the perfect Susanoo (or maybe not since it requires them to have Uzumaki's level of chakra probably)

@@dinh_khai_ all ninjas can only release their chakra from their palms and feets but hugas can release from all of their tenketsu points Imagine a air palm forced from their feet....it's like basic propulsion concept it gives enough downward force to puch you up, yes even in air it can push air molecules and thrust you forward basically similar to how rocket works or they could replicate Naruto's frog kata technique without even learning sage jutsu etc. All I'm saying is huga's could be way more creative with their fighting style instead of alway sticking towards 8 trigrams or gentle fist

Back when the series(and shippuden early on) was more intelligent in its character designs and battles. It was about strategy and tools and unique abilities that weren’t too over the top. Now it’s literally DBZ planet busting nonsense. Naruto literally turns yellow in to a super saiyan over the slightest little thing. You would think he would use some cool wind style jutsus and save all the glowing kurama bull shyt for stronger opponents and keep his stronger stuff in reserve as a trump card, but he’s a one note character to the point where all his new rasengan variations and tailed beast/sage mode fusions just aren’t impressive anymore. There’s only so much crap you can toss into a blender until it becomes brown sludge. Boruto as a series is pretty boring and uninteresting to me.
