This is unbelievable!! I'm a kid, but my dream is to have a homestead when I am older. Since I can't do it now, I'm trying to learn all that I can about livestock, gardening, and building. That chicken coop/gazebo is beautiful, and so is everything else!

@haiderAli-wy9bd I’d consider raising pigs for meat in the future but these are Juliana pot bellied pigs and are very small and slow growing by the time you get them big it would have cost too much to feed. I sell the babies as pets.

Seeing Bobby the pig as a toddler was so cute! I must write this Chad but you and your Darling have given farmers so much more respect and recognition for all the hard work involved! I am like "WOW" and to see how much you have built on your own, you need to take a bow Chad,👏👏👏👏👏👏 you are fantastic and you did an equally fantastic job with your dream farm because it is a dream. Your sheepdogs, Molly and Olive are just heaven. My brother has always had sheepdogs and I have fallen in love with them because they are loyal to the heart and just beautiful animals. Sheepdogs=❤! And the love does not stop there with your ducklings, your chicks, those naughty geese are funny as hell, remind me of my grandmother when she would guard the kitchen and not allow us kids to touch the pies until they were cooled down😂🤣😹. WOW-WOW-WOW. Love what you and the Mrs. have done. Great garden. My Grandma and Mom always used rabbit waste in the garden. A hand full of rabbit poop in the hole when planting always produced great peppers and tomatoes. We used to have giant garlic too. Oh those were the days. Oh and aren't baby piglets the cutest. It's a great way to live, very rewarding. That's a very in depth question to answer though. quick version is that we planned and saved for many years prior to making it happen, we have a mortgage on the property and have been building it up for a these past few years. Cost would depend on your area though.

This is so impressive! What an absolute dream. We planted all dwarf trees (as second year whips)so we had fruit in about a year. Can't wait to have a real orchard. Much love from a fellow Canadian

That’s great. Food security first decades. We planted a bunch off trees some of which are dwarf too. We get a few fruits on them but that’s about it. Some issues with Japanese beetles the past two years eating all the leaves. We’re looking forward to all the fruit too. Thnx for the comment 😀
