The smell of burning flesh is going to be noticed to all the houses north south east and west, wind or no wind! Not to mention Tammy, or Garth had to have noticed a smell! Not being gross, but there are many cases where human parts were being burned outside and the neighbors gave witness to the smell, they thought it was a bar b que. Were neighbors interviewed about any smell that day ?

Plenty of people don't like dogs because they are a sensory nightmare... I don't fault anyone for not liking them tbh. I like them, but I'd never own one bc i just don't have time or space for one. I think most people who own them shouldn't. Tldr most people who shouldn't own them make many people not like dogs.

I feel frustrated as a woman that obvious symptoms of menopause are treated like a mystery fatal illness by her family. I find that religious families especially avoid these topics so I shouldn’t be surprised. And I’m 45 years old and I get into bed early after exhausting days, too. The woman worked her butt off and was also physically active. Good gravy, we aren’t on the verge of death, WE ARE TIRED.

Amen JenniLynn. I was single parenting my youngest kids who are twins and were in high school at the time, and i was going through menopause working two jobs! I was exhausted I would literally come home eat dinner clean up and go to bed. I pray to God the jury sees this. She worked all day she went to clogging she went to Zumba she had had a bad marriage she was depressed most likely because of the menopause and her bad marriage! I know when I was going through menopause it made me feel like I was going crazy on certain days and my hormones were all over the place. I would have panic attacks at work when the hot flashes first started. I would feel this burning feeling from my forehead all the way down my body they were scary.

It's not even discussed in open society let alone lds households. Every symptom she talked about can be attributed to meno and post menopausal condition. I don't think her testimony did anything to help her father. She was so obviously lying. Her manner, her obvious brainwashing, was all there to see. She should be charged with perjury. All the teachers I know, even 30 years ago, had personal laptops where they kept notes on lesson plans, grading records, and developed quizzes and tests. So why, in 2019, does a married woman, who has a full time career as a teacher, need to use Dad’s computer. Even Garth, in his later testimony stated that he went to work on his teaching work on his laptop in his bedroom.

So so sad that Tammy’s kids are not behind their mom. It’s sick Emma has a relationship with Lori. Their dad & Lori tell them the kids are safe then they are found brutally murdered in their dad’s backyard & not one question is asked how they got there from their “safe” place. So, as a 52 year old woman going through menopause, I find it interesting that ALL of Tammy’s symptoms are similar to my symptoms in menopause🤔🤨 they are NOT symptoms that proceed what happened to her.. it’s such a shame they’re trying to make her sound sick and unhealthy when it sounds like she was very much a middle aged mom who was working her butt off for her family.

Everything you say is so true and plausible. Also she had (had) a busy life (financial provider, mother and caretaker, prob. household and yardwork, load of responsibilties/mental load, etc.), was exhausted and maybe even suffered from burnout at that point. Also also she had depression, which can make you sort of lethargic at times. Also also also a difficult relationship with her husband, probably she felt the relationship falling apart for some time without a clear path out of that dilemma. Apart from that there are completely healthy people who are "early birds" and that's just their natural bio-rythm at which they thrive, I'm one of them. Tammy seems to have been a normal human being with talents and faults, like everyone of us. Shame on her own family to not accept her as one.

I thought I pretty much knew the main players in this case. But Emma’s testimony today sealed the deal for me in my questions if Emma participated in the murders of the kids. There has always been huge raised brows over Emma’s conduct that I couldn’t quite make sense of. First, there’s the video shown of her dad in the cop car the day they found the kids in the backyard. Anyone in that situation who was clueless would be out of their mind, screaming, “dad, WTH is going on? They found bodies on the property! Is it the missing kids? Why did they arrest you?” But not Emma. Not one question from Emma. The only thing you can infer from this is that she already knew the answers to those questions. Then when she testified she did a search online the day before Tylee was murdered about wind direction and weather, and never made any such searches after that day, tells you she was a part of the planning of the Satanic death cult who practiced child sacrifice. Then there was the head-scratching, brow-raising behaviors of choosing to move into Chad’s home -where you knew murdered children were buried in you backyard, when you have 3 children of your own. Nothing says “home sweet home” like knowing your backyard was the scene of a gruesome child dismemberment and attempt to incinerate the body. Sorry, no one who is normal, who lives in reality, would choose to live in such a place. We also learned in trial that Emma contacted Lori frequently in jail as well, and speaks to her dad daily in jail. She obviously doesn’t find anything wrong about child murder and the abuse of corpse, lying, adultery and theft. But she says she does share in her father’s teaching in the concept of a rating system to determine a person’s dark and light status. And we know that Chad taught that once a person is rated dark, the only thing to do is murder them. I think based on what has been revealed in trial, that any school who employs Emma to be near children should be sued for child endangerment.

I have been a mortician for over thirty years and a few things Garth said seem scripted. We have heard twice now, that there was a loud thump, alerting them that Tammy was dead. Once by Chad and now by Garth, that Tammy's, lifeless body miraculously moved and, fell off the bed. First dead bodies don't randomly exert energy and fall off beds. LUDICROUS! They claim she fell halfway of bed and made a big thump. However, both Chad and Garth stated that her body was cold and stiff. This thump story is laughable. If rigor set in, it would be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for her body to hit the floor with enough force to make a thump especially while she was still half on the bed. Her torso and neck would be stiff so if her legs and feet were still on the bed and half her body off the bed, her head would hardly touch the floor. If her ankles and feet were on the on the bed and her head was touching the floor there would be damage to her face or forehead because of the angle of impact. Still it would not make a house shaking thump. It takes several hours for a body, especially under blankets to cool down. It is not like she was fading away in hospice. Hours earlier she was supposedly walking around, coughing, vomiting bloody foam, and wiping it up with towels...oh yeah, then she "choked'. Sad that no one thought this was 911 worthy phone call but a guy with a paintball gun was? Anyway, a warm, pliable dead body pushed completely off a bed, would make a loud thump, but they said she was stiff and so cold and her feet were on the bed. Sorry, they can't have it both ways. Also, why was she so cold? Was she killed outside? We absolutely need to see a reenactment of this laughable scenario.

My takeaway from the entire day's testimony? This was Tammy's family. These family members said that they knew Tammy best, and all the other testimony is folks who can be no more than strangers or acquaintances. Strangers had nicer things to say about Tammy than her own family members. These family members made Tammy out to be a recluse who did nothing but computer games/apps sitting on the coach eating a Quarter Pounder, lying and cheating her fitbit just to win because she was too lazy to do the work yet did all the managing of the family business, maintain the garden/pet cemetery, carrying a bunch of boxes all over school, and fitting in some zumba and clogging in every week. I mean, is this a realistic picture of the person they supposedly cared for and loved? I heard it straight from Emma's mouth during today's testimony -- Chad is the head of the Patriarchy. That's all I needed to know from her.

We were in the courtroom today, after listening this and chatting with my friend who was also there we came up with an idea…. All the talk of the cozy cone, how it’s soundproof, and the difficulty navigating between it and the house combined with the video of Emma and Chad and the mention of moving that mattress got us thinking…. Was Tammy killed in the cozy cone? Could the mattress be the murder weapon? Like maybe Chad or Alex or whoever pinned Tammy under the mattress in the soundproof area and asphyxiated her. Might be an indicator Emma knows more as well 🤔🤔🤔

My takeaways from today's testimony was a mixture of "I guess I'm not surprised that Chad would raise children of the corn", and " So this is what it looks like when people get lobotomized". Other takeways: 1. If you're vomiting and sick, you typically don't want mcdonalds. 2. Sleep apnea varies mild, mod, and severe. People can have it for years until they get diagnosed. It's rare that it would kill you let alone without causing cardiac events too. 3. Emma denied watching the trial, yet Prior asked her if she remembered testimony from weeks back at the beginning of her testimony. 4. You can't have endless refills of antidepressants without seeing a dr. 5. People commonly get tired in their 40s+, and they don't die. 6. It's weird you'd go to the dr to get pain meds for your elbow, because you fell on ice, yet not go because you faint, have anemia, or have low blood pressure. 7. Emma was not credible at all. The possession story was bizarre. This whole family just seems more nutty the more we see of it. 8. Does Prior expect us all to believe the neighbors/friends, employees, law enforcement, medical professionals and everyone not on Chad's side is trying to frame him? That we are supposed to ignore his own texts and phone calls and listen to Emma? Lol

Chilling, when you think of him as Chad's "mini-me," as Dr. John described him. Compare to mild-mannered, humble author Chad, who wouldn't kill anyone, vs. the patriarch, prophet, and translated being, who (allegedly) killed his wife, and may also have done terrible things to Tylee, and attacked her body violently with yard tools.

He ruled the roost with an iron fist, and children learn who the dominant parent is and will emulate him. The children saw this behavior their entire life, so they continue this behavior now. The manner in which Emma so gladly “threw her mother under the bus” demonstrated the control he has over them. Everyone around Tammy saw her as a loving, caring, healthy, friendly. Absolutely agree on Emma using their computer. Between that, her absolute belief in possession, her not asking any questions as police were searching, her not asking how are bodies in your yard? What do you mean you’re not coming back? If she believes Lori put the bodies there, why doesn’t she mind that she is giving Lori money in jail? Why does she not ask any of that then or any time since in visits or in phone calls. If her mom died naturally, why would she refuse to speak to police or look at her mother’s autopsy?? None of that makes sense for an educated teacher who is mourning her mother’s loss. :’something is terribly amiss and I worry now that she knows more than o ever thought!

Emma definitely either watched the trial or Prior coached her on exactly what to say. Emma spoke waaaay too much and in too much detail about the cozy cone ( how it was inconvenient to get to and the little electricity it had, etc.) She would never had known that anyone cared about it unless someone specifically told her what to talk about, since the stairs were never an issue until the recent testimony saying Chad told people different stories.

Lauren, Today was so heartbreaking. How can Tammy's children go on the stand and lie for their dad? I was so sad for Tammy I cried quite a bit. How can they stick up for that MONSTER? My heart hurts for Tammy. Shouldn't they get put in jail for perjury? It was only obvious. I thought Garth was so close to his mother.... I was hoping for Garth to side with his mom

Introverts have friends! They tend to have a few amount of friends, but they are good quality friendships! Tammy went through all the never-ending work that was her life, yet she was overweight, unfriendly, and out-of-shape. Geez, who needs enemies when you have a daughter like Emma! 😭😭😭 Oh, and about "googling the wind direction": Well, yeah. The entire reason why it was significant that ANYONE would google the wind direction the day before cremating their loved one in a fire pit, is so that burning human flesh wouldn't be blowing on the neighbors... (which might incriminate them)

I agree with you about being an introvert and that we keep a couple friends very close. But everything we’ve heard about Tammy is that she was very outgoing and talkative with EVERYONE. She wasn’t an introvert… she was STALKED by her husband through her family (mainly Emma) so I could see her going home and wanting to shut herself in her room just to get away from Emma and have some alone time.

Honestly about the Knox Berry Vacation and the $8,000, they should have asked how she felt spending her mom's blood money and knowing Lori and her father were spending not only her mom's blood money but blood money for the two dead children buried in her father's back yard. And how does she feel when her own children play in the yard where two dead children's remains were found, do they build cozy fires in the fire pit where they chopped, hacked and burned a 16 year old girl? Or maybe she is okay with it because of her shared belief with her father. SURE, that's how you show love and respect for your mom. He was dancing on a beach getting married 10 days after they buried her loving mom, knowing there were two dead children buried in his backyard? Disgusting and Shameful! 😢

Garth never mentioned Tammy was throwing up. His room is right across from Tammy. He was awake playing games and all was quiet. Then Chad woke him up asking for help. Garth comes in and single handedly lifts his cold, stiff, gray mother back into the bed. Chad is bigger and stronger than Garth. Exactly what did Chad need help with? Chad needed a witness then he told Garth the story.
