@hiddentruecrime I know you and your followers are thoughtful and kind people. I know this case has brought a lot of strong and opposing opinions. But, you were the ones who introduced me to this case and the holes you saw early on e were what sparked my interest. I would hope you would follow your investigative inclinations and not let the story end with the sentencing. When justice is not served, no one feels closure. I understand the impulse to want to be right, but in this case there are so many things that were not fully vetted, and I hope you will consider the other side and use your investigative skills, now that the gag order has been lifted and we are in the post-sentence phase.

Thank you Lauren for going back to Delphi to attend Richard’s sentencing and bringing us back into the courtroom. Wow, some powerful words from the family. They are amazing people. To pull themselves together enough to be able to speak so eloquently is so admirable. I’m so sorry for their pain and suffering. I hope their words live and haunt RA forever. I hope he is put through humiliation and fear every day of the rest of his life. He is a monster. Lauren you at the best at bringing updates. So glad you were able to get back to Delphi. Thank you. I pray you can heal from the horrors you have had to hear and see to cover this. Thankfully you have Dr John who I’m sure is a huge supporter. God bless the family of these girls and the town of Delphi. Hugs and much love to everyone.

I lost my son (to natural causes) in May. Carrie Timmons' words resonated so much with me. It is hard enough to lose a child the way I did, I can not imagine how horrible it is to have to know that a monster chose to end the life of your beautiful, healthy child. My heart goes out to the families of Abby and Libby. Fly high sweet angels.

It was stated that RA family was encouraged NOT to be there, the defense team wanted to show defiance and had the family stay home to exhibit non acceptance of the verdict. Court TV is now trying to entertain his innocents by discussing odenism and how it's "relevant. Only relevance to me is if RA was an odenist because he was the only man or men seen there. Period. He was tried by a jury of his peers he chose who unequivocally found him GUILTY. So in closing they are still going hard with the appeal and is adement it was a odenistic sacrifice. Smh.... 🤬 It's not over sadly for Abby and libbys family. The defence is disgusting by dragging these family members through the mud. If they don't have a person of interest they can prove did this crime, then they need to let this go and stop entertaining ideologies to set RA free. It's about those children not RA since he has confessed 61 times, wore and admitted such the same thing as BG. There is so much more.... he is GUILTY. THE JURY GOT IT RIGHT!

I gather from your comments that you think this is a ridiculous theory. I did too when I initially read about it. What Court TV did not get into is that Erica is from the area - a long time Victim's Advocate and private investigator who was not allowed to speak about the trial for the past 2 years due to the gag order. She refused to sign onto the case when she was initially approached because she wanted nothing to do with it. Then she looked into the discovery and came to believe in RA's innocence. She is just one person who has raised reasonable questions about this case. All I'm saying is that it is much harder for people to believe in the innocence of one man when they are primed to believe in the prosecution and law enforcement.

I had a thought that after appeals and the defense lawyers move on and leave Richard Allen alone, and given his dependent personality, he may confess again. He is manipulative and gullible but once people aren't in his ear anymore, he may decide to tell the truth again. For the 64th time. (?)

The unsettling in our state is not law enforcement. It is the brutal killing of these two percious girls. That someone could be so evil to do this. Law enforcement can only do so much. Unfortunately people blame them instead of looking at all the facts. There is no person on this earth who are perfect, we all make mistakes on a daily. Usually other than the victims families, there is no one other than law enforcement who want these crimes solved. Especially the ones who have to deal with the crime scene and see the victims. I say put the blame where it lies, the offender. After all the evidence I do believe it is Richard Allen but if you don't believe it's him, put your anger towards who you believe is guilty! Those girls were brutally murdered and their families have to live with that until they leave this earth. If the people who believe Allen isn't guilty, then pull all your resources together and hire someone who can find and prove otherwise! We had an execution here in IN of a man who killed his whole family but to his dying day would not take responsibility for it saying he was innocent. Our prisons are full of "innocent" people who refuse to admit guilt. I for one believe Allen is one of those.

All these victim statements were so powerful and heartfelt. They really depicted Abbey and Libby. They were so loved by their family's. RA was a predator and a coward who is now hiding behind his Bible, but its all a game, like the Attorney that continues to rub his back, all games. The Judge saw through the Shenanigans and gave the ultimate punishment, thankfully. Hopefully the family members have finally some closure and peace. They so deserve it. Thankyou Lauren for your superb work and dedication to this Case, bringing the truth. May Abby and Libby Rest In Peace. Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪 💚💚🎄

This is absolutely heart wrenching and it doesn’t even come close to showing what the family experience and feel every day for all these years, and sadly will continue to. I pray if this man is truly guilty he has the little decency he may have to answer all their questions. It’s the very least he can do after all he brutally yanked from these girls and loved ones. They deserve to have their story told and their entire story, not just what LE was able to gather and fill in for the families, friends of these special people and the community. I pray these families somehow can live a life Abby and Libby wish for them (although I know that’s not even feasible.)💔 Love they are vowing to remember the girls for the memories they hold dear, for their beautiful souls and not allow this demon to leave them with the visions and unanswered questions he has chosen to torture everyone with.

I wish the judge would have lifted the gag/no press order for the sentencing so that the victims’ families could be heard publicly. But I’m not sure how the families feel about that (maybe they were glad there was no video while giving their statements?). Regardless, thank you for sharing their statements. I am grateful that the judge gave RA the maximum. He certainly deserves it for what he has done and how difficult he has made (and continues to make) things for the families of the victims. I am with (I think it was Libby’s?) grandfather. I can understand the defense’s ETHICAL roll in our justice system and I can additionally understand RA’s family’s grief for their loss. But I cannot understand what I see as unethical actions by both of these parties that have been causing additional hell for the victims’ families. Additionally, RA’s wife not being there today to hear the family’s impact statements feels disrespectful to me. I imagine her staying home because they have been told by the defense that the sentencing hearing is just something that they have to do as part of the process but that it doesn’t matter if she’s there because they are going to get a new trial anyway. Of course that is wild speculation, but it’s what comes to mind seeing her not bothering to come today after she left the trial defiantly saying “this is not over.” There are definitely practices that defense attorneys are able to get away with that cross an ethical line for me. It seems there are ethical defense attorneys and those that are willing to do anything to get ahead, regardless of how that promotes lies or hurts people. Smh, this has been such a hard case. Thank you for your faithfulness in bringing us the truth. I’m grateful for the jury and for the ultimate outcome. May every single one of RA’s appeals fall on utterly deaf ears and may RA’s time with other inmates bring the gift of karma’s justice into his life.

This verdict will absolutely be appealed and should be. As for Richard Allen rolling his eyes. Aside from perhaps being disrespectful which is understandable being that the judge was clearly biased, what would you expect? Remorse? Why should someone show remorse for a verdict that he/she believes is unjust? Expressions of remorse is for the guilty. Be that as it may, I enjoy your channel, but you've got this one wrong.

The fact that he is bringing that bible in as a prop for everyone to see just shows he is a master manipulator. When someone shows you who they are……believe them

I do not feel this case was at all handle properly from the start ! I have watched numerous hours of evidence and I’m sorry I don’t think he did it ! So many failures on the evidence being tested! The investigation video he’s says over and over he did not do this! These poor baby girls .. rest in paradise Libby and Abby 🤍🤍🙏🏼🙏🏼

Libbys parents created a wrath of destruction years ago. Derrick was a father and husband too. Its like calling the kettle black.

Awesome you attended the sentencing. I’m sure Gray Hughes is tuned in so he can get the scoop and know what to report. He’s a grifter. You’re the real deal!

Why do you feel the need to tear another down to elevate another? Both channels are great at reporting facts and use a different method to do so. You allowed to not like gray hughes, his style isn’t the most approachable but that doesn’t mean he’s bad at what he does, different strokes for different folks. His timelines are something I don’t get from this channel which is why I like that both exist, this weird “my team” mentality is childish.

@ he treats commenters just fine as long as they aren’t saying stupid things. If people insist on saying stupid things, they deserve ridicule for it.
