hide - EYES LOVE YOU (HD Eng sub)

This is my SONG OF THE MONTH, "EYES LOVE YOU" by hide. I first heard this song today, a year ago. When I was getting to know hide better, I was in New York, visiting my early childhood, which ended up making a special bond between me and this song. The live performance has an enchanting tone to it because of the visual emotion portrayed at different camera angles. It has truly dazzled my eyes, and touched my heart!
I've added English subtitles, so that fans around the world can understand something beautiful.

This is so interesting. And a really interesting interpretation I just thought of - hide is talking about *himself* and his inability to find anything he loves about himself aside from his image and such

I'd say it's more about a lost love and how he couldn't/ wouldn't want to find somebody else to care for...all the others are just images in a "room full of illusions". Well, it's definitely open for interpretation...Could you post "Erase" too?

All I really know about this song is that hide was like "I wanna create a catchy pop song, but a little different, so he got with a writer and came up with this song lol But hey, sorry for such a late reply. I guess I haven't been getting notified of comments on my channel, but I'll try to fix it right away. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

It would be interesting to know the real meaning behind these lyrics...perhaps we are reading too much between the lines? lol I do wonder whether he ever had somebody to love for real. I remember reading somewhere that he loved kids and wanted to have some, but he didn't have time for family life. :(

@@manufabydumbrava Yeah, I've seen some pictures of him with different girls here and there. He also had a girlfriend living with him in his LA apartment at the time of his death. Understandably, he never spoke about them.
