Dani Wilson's Hideaway Studio produces astonishingly beautiful sample libraries. Many who play "MPE" instruments eschew samples altogether, but I find these libraries to be a joy to play on the LinnStrument.
In this video I am playing tweaked presets from three Hideaway Studio libraries: "Synergenesis", "Chromatix" and "the Blue Zone." The website (hideawaystudio...) is worth a visit, if for nothing else than learning about some of the amazing technology and history behind the old beasts that Wilson lovingly restores, as well as a window into the mind of a genius craftsperson, engineer and musician (with a touch of mad scientist thrown in) who I feel indebted to for allowing us all to enjoy these sounds.
I've noticed that Wilson writes about bringing forth the old through a dynamic relationship with the new, a sort of intimate fusion of technologies through time and care and craft. I find playing these libraries on this new generation of instruments is very much in line with the spirit with which these magnificent instruments are offered.
