Hey, is it okay if I create an AU where one of Crows siblings survived the fire? Her story would go as followed. After the fire, Shell (the siblings name in my headcanon) passed out from smoke inhalation, but all wasn’t lost, the mermaid cats found her and took her in. She was adopted by a loving and protective foster mother, Salamander, and got two foster brothers; Snail and Arithen, and a foster sister; Marigold. Shell was beloved by her foster family, and the mermaid cats were right, she was a mermaid cat. One day, she slipped and fell off a ledge, but she reappeared at the top. Her wings showed up to save her. Turns out, as the kin of the princess of the mermaid cats, and the prince of the Avian Cats, she became a Mer-Avian hybrid. With a mermaid tail and wings. At first the mermaid queen wanted her gone, but her loving foster family stepped up and said there was no way she was being taken away from them. She went on to be a respected member of the mermaid cats, and no one ever questioned her wings. She wasn’t broken, just different. A few years pass, and an Avian cat visits to speak with Shell. He tells her he found her full blood brother and to follow him. This avian cat leads Shell to Crow, her only living relative (though not for long). Crow snaps at her and says he wants nothing to do with her. The avian cat takes Shell home. The Avian cat tells Shell his name on the way back, Esperian. The two grow very close, as two oddballs would (Esperian do be autistic, but that just makes him all the more special). They become mates eventually, but decide against having offspring. Shell would eventually follow in her foster family’s paw steps and adopted an orphan mermaid kitten named Nautilus (like the nautilus shell) By the way, Crow’s story would still play out the same in this AU given he didn’t know Shell was alive until Esperian brought her to him, and by that point he wanted nothing to do with her. And to make people feel better, Shell and Esperian mourned for Crow after his death. (Esperian moved in with Shell and the Mermaid cats by the way, he was scared Crow would kill him if he stayed with the Avian Cats. Anyway that’s all I wanted to say bye. (Laggy iPad keyboard go brrr)

(Crow got only wings and his brother only a mermaid tail) just like what you said! My favorite from your AU is definitely Esperian (I love autistic characters XD) As long as you have fun, and don't claim ownership over my characters, you can do whatever you want! ^^
