Thank you for being one of the only few reviewers showcasing the menu and ui completely in depth, I wanted to pull the trigger but sadly even though there are lots of stuff to tune the things I was looking for were not there, I was looking for tempo and pitch frequency tuning in a un-hooked manner. a few android music player apps support this feauture, haven't found the non android player yet that does it aswell sadly

had the Ap80 the headphone jack output is mechanically weak, it broke on me, there is a cut in the pcb for the connector , so it is floating , the soldering is weakened by the weight of the connector itself !

The on off/volume switch on my AP80 has become faulty and it can take up to 5minutes just to start it. I love the sound quality but the menu function is laggy and cumbersome. It is worth the sound quality for the price. HIDIZ made me pay the postage from Australia to Hong Kong when another HIDIZ unit I purchased was faulty on arrival, so beware, their after sales service is bad and mean.

Its baffling how many reviewers don't listen to RnB, Rap, Pop combo and so many listen to rock old and new, metal, blues, jazz. Zeos still is the most versatile of the bunch if not perfect 🤷♂️.
@Currawong4 жыл бұрын
Probably because the quality of a lot of that music is poor, and once you start getting half-decent gear, the lack of mastering quality becomes painfully obvious.
@teachonlywhatiseasy4 жыл бұрын
@@Currawong you might be onto something, but bad music is bad music period. mastering is irrelevant. good labels do have decent mastering most of the time, its the balance that counts, Lounge is a perfect example of mediocrity that is mastered to perfection. Music falls into the 20% power law distribution of creativity and i respect how the general populous rewards talent many times more than mastering for the same reason even though sometimes the mastering is basic or subpar.

Question, does the audio from the FM Radio also come out through the balanced output or only through the phone output?, Thanks
@DerpyDooReviews3 жыл бұрын
The first thing he said about the radio was "It only works if you use the 3.5mm audio jack" so no, it only works with the standard 3.5mm not the balanced 2.5mm

@@DerpyDooReviews Theoretically it may be possible, provided something is in the 3.5mm port to be used as an aerial.

FLAC. WAV is double the size and doesn't store metadata (info about the music). If you're a Mac user like me, ALAC is fine too.

MUST READ FOR HIDSZ AP80: Fragile unit and expensive to fix(Cost to repair screen is almost the same price as buying new) I dropped my unit from waist level onto floor(protective case and film installed from day1). Screen not cracked, no physical damage but the screen is busted. Not a great after sales user experience and also no repair centers - I live in Singapore. Also no hold button, I use or rather used to use the player while working out and it would often unlock and messing with either music or going into the settings. The only pros for me about the player is size and aesthetic & button placement.

Don’t buy it!! Bluetooth sucks with iPhone, hidisz cable to connect to iPhone doesn’t work which they know but keep selling it anyways. On/of volume wheel lasted 4 months, not possible to turn it on anymore. Don’t waste your money on this!!!
@aceln74752 жыл бұрын
This will not work on iPhone as a dac as it draws too much power. It does work on the iPad though. This company just ignores you if you have a problem. Also what not said in the reviews is that you need to buy and use their proprietary cables for it to work. And the cables supplied are way too short to be practical. Would not buy anything from this company again.
