All of her pieces are just beautiful! The time and detail, each brushstroke, each piece that came to make a whole...it's all magical. Not just to watch, but the end product as well.

That looks like an Indian chakra. I think asian cultures share lot of value and tradition than we think they are.
Beautiful! What do you brush on the whole painting after drawing the lines with the ink?

Mesmerizing! I am so ignorant of this art form and have so many questions! 1, Is that all done in ink or is some of it paint? 2. What is in the dish with the little spoon? 3. Is it all done by the same person? I see one person wearing glasses painting large areas yet some of the tiny detail work is done by a person not wearing glasses. 4. Is there someone reading these comments that can point me in the direction of some informative videos in English or with English subtitles?
@hidukimiwa4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comments. I drew this work by myself:) All of my works are painted with black ink and pigment made from minerals. I plan to add English subtitles sometime soon, so please wait for a while.

@@hidukimiwa Thank you! I've done some research and now understand what the paint is made from, too cool. I understand you make a mixture of alum and something to paint the paper, is it Gum Arabic? or some other type of binder? - I haven't yet come across an English explanation of all the little triangles. - I LOVE the plum blossom painting. I have grown both cherries and plums and find the plum blossoms prettier.
