High C.O. Coming From Boiler

Hey everyone! In this video, we tackle a serious issue: High CO (carbon monoxide) coming from a boiler. When I arrived at the job site, even the outdoor CO readings were off the charts, which is never a good sign. Inside, we found a Navien boiler in the basement apartment, and after a quick inspection, we discovered the source of the problem-a broken sight glass on the heat exchanger. This was causing dangerously high CO levels in the home.
I headed over to the supply house, picked up a new sight glass, and came back to install it. While I was there, I also noticed the expansion tank on the boiler needed replacing, so we took care of that too.

This is a very common thing with Naviens their water tube heat exchangers always fail and sometimes they fail right out of the box.

Most of the time if done incorrectly can cause major problems. Plus the material expandandes ect. Like a Ballon once you deflate it, it will no longer be the same so you shouldn't reuse them. You can... But you shouldn't for saftey and damage reliability reasons.
