I remember this race very well .. both Falbrav and High Chaparal were big favs of mine . Awesome race , Falbrav was 💯 better at 1m 2f so to get that close was an epic effort , but at 1m4f that was High Chaparrals best distance and he didn’t let anyone down this day . I don’t think the Leopardstown race was Darryl Hollands finest ride , with a clear run I’m positive he would’ve won . Superb choice today , cheers 🍻 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yes I think Falbrav got outstayed near the line.He might have won if he had been held up more but he was probably aware of what happened in Ireland and kicked on early.Amazing Horse though.Won the QE2 on The Bridle.Seen him winning at York myself.

Yes agreed.Kinane still convinced he won that race.Something quite exciting about waiting for a photo like the Habibti one.

@jaymacgee_A_Bawbag_Blethering Yes I done 2 Screenshots this morning and the TV stopped their Video just before the line because if you compare that to the official photo the Jockeys arms are in a different position

Whoever rode Falbrav in Ireland rode a shocker (Luca was being very tight lipped but you could clearly see he also knew it wasn't a good ride)surely his jock could see at least 2 out that he was never going to get through but still stated on the same position without trying to go to the outside I'm plenty of time.

To this day im convinced High Chaparral won. not a dead heat. it appears his nose area is missing in the photo. His head shape at tip is not natural and a fraction missing. Also look at the horses shadows in the freeze frame dead heat 14.18 clearly shows High Chaparral won by a good nose.
