I’m a homeless veteran who literally receives $23/month in food stamps. It’s pretty ridiculous. And yes, I have a job which is why I don’t get more than that.

I can cook a nutritious meal for less than dollar for one person if I needed too. Oatmeal, rice, beans ect. I own a 16 and a 11 year old Toyota. I could easily afford to upgrade cars but that would be stupid. My point is if you really need to you can survive. Just be resourcefu,creative and learn how cook.

Cheap crap is very toxic. It's inflammatory. When I was homeless on Hollywood Boulevard aged 19, I ate less than ever and walked several miles a day. I rapid GAINED WEIGHT! My diet of McDonald's (the cheapest fast food available) was poison.

Rehauling our food stamps in the United States would be the best bet. All able bodies with children reather you have one child or 10 children they should be working to support their children.
