@@DaveDoucette there’s a quest in Act 3 in Azak Bog where you have to kill a witch that drops an item which gives you another 30 spirit. You can do this twice by the way for normal story and cruel

Ummm so I was stuck on Janamara at like 10+ tries. Followed this guide, spent the day changing my passive tree and re gemming my abilities and absolutely melted him, didn't even get a chance to upgrade my gear. Definitely subscribing. Thanks bro.

Unironically the best guide i have watched so far on builds. Im new to the series as a whole and im not one to spend enough time with builds figuring out whats the best, most efficient or how things work, im not smart enough either. I currently have 3 characters 70+ and always looking for new builds for new characters ive not started and this one has been the most indepth and easiest to follow, not all information is relevant to me but even things like recommending the official trading site which im sure 98% of players dont know is a thing is great, most other vids ive seen just promote scams at the start or dodgy sites "selling orbs with a 1% discount". Very well done for the video, the style you did this in was perfect. Another nitpick of mine is the voice, thank you so much for not sounding like you want to die or overhyping stuff talking in a weird voice, just being normal. I can really appreciate a good and actually helpful guide.

He is correct. You will not be able to use most of this on your first character until you're mid cruel at the earliest. Also, the trading at the end. You will likely never find gear with enough spirit to use herald and wind dancer at the same time until your cruel run is almost complete. Same for great weapons. You'll likely have to settle on one that barely cuts it for a long time until you have mats for trade or get very lucky.

Wonderful build! Not following it too closely but will definitely steal some nice things about it. Since the INT requirement for orb of storms exists, you may not be able to use it right away or for a while in cruel. I definitely would recommend using a crossbow and using galvanic shards in place of orb of storms til you can. Put chain on galvanic shards and you can shoot the rods and you do pretty good damage. OoS seems to be a solid upgrade to damage, but galvanic shards is pretty solid damage overall, although a tiny bit clunky to use.

The only thing i would add is Herald of ash and Cannibalism if you have Spirit. It will add explosion to (almost) every mob death and heal you at same time.

No need! You’ll unlock an ascendancy skill later that will do that for any bow.

For skill tree I went for bow damage and full grit hit chances and dmg tbh makes more sense to me and also chose all the speed passives and invasions

Ranger is awesome I don't have a lot of esperience in such kind of games and play using guides. I tried different classes and the ranger is incredible with it's instant kills practically from the start. Act 1 became a speedrun with it for me

Secondly, as a fellow controller player, I'm having a hard time as a ranger because the auto aim likes to choose the single enemy behind me rather than the large mob ahead. Do you have any tips? I was fine as a warrior because youre required to be at the centre of all enemies most of the time

I had this same problem! What I did was - Put lightning arrow for R2/RT - Orb of Storms for R1/RB - Lightning Rod for L2/LT This way I can aim my skills with my right stick! Hope this helps

Good work, I'm building this too. I wonder tough, if the Magnified effect increased aoe is additive, or cumulative. Meaning, does it really add the 40% to the 100% range, or to the remaining 50%? Is the formula 50 area+40%=70, or 50%+40%=90%. Does it add to the area, or to the %? Another way of saying could be, 50% out of 140% area is 70% remaining too. Know what I mean?

What stats were you confusing? I mentioned that you need to cap your resistances for endgame so you don’t die and I said anything that increases your physical attack damage and mana regen rate should be prioritized. What can I help with?

The Build is super strong but you should mention that the Orb of Storm need much of the INT Stat. With Level 10 uncut Gem you need 95 Int which most Rangers don´t have. Or are you using a low Skill Gem?

Just use a low level orb of storms it’s okay! The damage doesn’t matter it’s just used for chaining lightning 👍 lvl it up later

the level of the orb of storms does not matter much, it won't do much dmg anyways, its just for chaining. Not worth investing in int for higher level orbs atleast

I just picked Dex for every node until I noticed I needed a particular attribute then just respecd a node based on what I needed. Seemed to work fine and was very inexpensive since you can respec attribute nodes with out refunding the attached ones.

Check to the north of the dexterity multiplier. You went south for an even better node of crit and lightning. Paths pretty short and also offers more Dex. Great build. At 45 so far. Will keep ya posted

@@Jubumby I can get one shot on monk with 14k ES, there are very strange mechanics in poe 2, and there will probably be nerfs for it

@@Miyagi_26 So I have no idea about energy shield, but with evasion i'm pretty sure some attack are just unavoidable like shockwaves, also elites never seem to miss either. I dont know if its an accuracy issue or if these types of attacks should be unavoidable, but it makes evasion almost invalid. Hopefully theres some kind of adjustment eventually. On a side note, if you're at point blank and a boss tries to basic attack it can miss maybe?

@@Jubumby there's a lot to write, but I hope they do something about these attacks that kill instantly, no matter what you're wearing, etc. It's really annoying when the boss doesn't take any of my life, and on a regular map, when I'm running, I can get hit by an invisible force, that kills me in one shot
