Samus recovery in Metroid Dread is called "ShineSpark" and in the game you need to activate the Speed Booster, move down and stop, after that you press the b botton to activate the ShineSpark, very easy yo use :D

8:00 lol old jerma I tend to find emmi online way more than samus, dealing with their super armor is cray but its pretty satisfying when you break the face and turn the tides. I'd pay to see a really good snake and emmi go at each other and see how both their stealth mechanics affect it

yo m8 , you missed some important things, imma fill them out on here (still love the vid tho) samus: the efects of the beams on the taunt can be stacked , not the misilles tho there is one other resource you didn´t use , power bombs , you get two per stock and they deal massive damage, to use them go to morph ball (down special) and hold the attack button , after a short charge you can use the power bomb by releasing the button samus can only shinespark (up special) once per airtime , even if she walljumps both: both samus and the emmi can empower shinespark (the up special for both of them), to do so hold the attack button while doing dash attack , they will keep running (speed booster) , at any point after this press down, they should stop where they are and have a purple aura to them (you can stop holding the attack button after this). The charge lasts for some time (longer than the source game) and next time you shinespark , the move will have super armor , deal more damage , knockback and travel further emmi: the emmi has armor (think of bowsers passive) represented by the face plate they have (it has 25 hp that recovers with time), if it breaks the emmi losses the face plate for the stock the neutral special grab has a timming mecanic to it, the emmi will choose (at random, 3 different timings) when to do the stab , if the player using the emmi presses special again when the emmi eye shines , the move will do 40% , but this goes both ways !! , if the player that is grabbed uses parry on the same window after the eye shine (4 frame window for both btw) the move will fail and the emmi will be vulnerable for a short while also if you ever try out solid snake , make shure to read his description on the steam page , or you gonna have a hard time understanding him

All these moves are from Metroid Dread! (Except Jab, F-Tilt, Up-Air & Back-Air. Those seem to be derived from Smash.) Up-Tilt/F-Air: Melee Counter Down-Tilt: Slide Neutral Specials: Charge Beam/Wide Beam/Plasma Beam/Wave Beam Side Special: Missile/Super Missile/Ice Missile/Flash Shift Up Special: Shinespark Down Special: Morph Ball & Bomb F-Smash/Up-Smash/Down-Air: Diffusion Beam Down-Smash: Cross Bomb Neutral-Air: Screw Attack Taunts: Menu, Siphoning Energy All of the SFX are from Metroid Dread too!!

That looks like a modified version of (I think) Razbuten's Samus moveset, at least a youtuber's. Same aerials, same f and u smash, similiar general concept. This is much more complicated, though, and I love the translation of her fighting style from dread into this game. Some cool references: Up smash and forward smash is diffusion beam D smash is cross bomb Up tilt- melee counter Down tilt- slide Fair- aerial counter Nair- screw attack Love the moveset. Her HUD is a bit over the top, though. It looks out of place.

yeah, the EMMIs have a faceplate that breaks when they take enough damage. I don't know much but I think it takes more damage with the plate gone.
