Does the entire new speaker setup process and applying damping, etc cause any harm to the existing ppf ? Anything that needs to be taken care of if the PPF is already there ?

Not at all.. PPF is on outer surface.. so no issue with inside damping.. but yes if you are sticking anything on body like chrome kit etc on ppf use good 3M tape.. or else thode din baad nikal jaega.😊👍🏻
