I have that kenwood head unit, brought it before I had a car with oem stereo that had decent integration MOST150. model number is DMX9720XDS for Australia and Europe it's Excelon in North America. They still haven't made a flagship that surpasses this from kenwood. The only thing that could have been better is having a coax or toslink out, although you could always add one from the rca outputs if you really wanted lol only worth it if you had noise though but this head unit is very clean and has nice 6 volt preouts too, lastly I'm a focal utopia fanboy, pretty sure I'm going to go the utopia midrange for my build, must admit I'm leaning more and more towards those air motion tweets too I do froth over an airy high end and who doesnt 🤤 💪 Now I've let the video finish, the helix streamer seems a little unnecessary not being rude it's just that head unit supports LDAC which is far superior even to APTX for Bluetooth, pretty sure it supports aptx as well if not it definitely supports aac and wireless android auto and car play which is completely lossless even with high res audio, again the head unit doesn't have a digital output like the streamer but, I dunno that's just personal opinion. Love the rest and the fact he uses as his party boom box 😂🕺 awsome!

Very fun build. The Gately style terminal pocket should be standard now for anyone building boxes. Install permitting, I don't even think it's worth the time doing anything but 8 inch midbass(maybe 7) anymore. Most 6.5s don't have the output vs enclosure ratio for a big dynamic range system or the depth makes the enclosure unruly for the install. Maybe I'm in the minority now having 6s on the dash and not having the best depth for doors, IDK.
