def a smart choice water cooling that cpu. it runs really hot with air coolers
@prbion1993 Жыл бұрын
wdym bro its a 240mm aio a good air cooler would actually be better than that + it would be cheaper but it would look worse

I have this exact same CPU + GPU combo and I have a 212 hyper evo. The temps are a bit high for my liking, so im looking to replace the cooler soon, I was thinking of going with an AIO solution but im unsure
@t-k1618 Жыл бұрын
@@prbion1993 A good aircooler is better than 120mm AIO or low quality 240mm AIO, this however is a decent one and definitely better than aircooler
@CrustyMusty101 Жыл бұрын
Mine runs on a Scythe Fuma 2 and it runs reasonably cool. Granted it is hotter than the average chips but it like the friend above said, a good aircooler can def do the job

Why did u get a 500gb ssd over a 1tb ssd?
@PCLabBrussels Жыл бұрын
As a system drive 500GB is more than enough for the user I built this PC for. There is an additional 1TB drive as well.

I am getting the same parts, except the PSU and CPU Cooler, I am getting myself a 750W PSU and for CPU cooling NZXT T120. Is that good PCLab?
@PCLabBrussels Жыл бұрын
It depends on which power supply you are going to buy. 750 watt is a minimum requirement for RX 6750 XT, but it has to be at least 80+ gold from a premium brand (Corsair, EVGA, Thermaltake...). For the CPU cooler, NZXT T120 is a good one, however 5800X is a very hot CPU as it draws up to 147 watts at full load so if it's possible for you, I would recommend at least 240mm AIO Watercooler. NZXT T120 costs around $55, for $20 more you can get a 240mm AIO, like Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2, or DeepCool LE500 Marrs, they cost around $75 and they're much more effective.

What Other cabinet can i use?
@PCLabBrussels Жыл бұрын
You can use any ATX size chassis for this build which is long enough to fit 327mm GPU, if you're going to buy this graphics card. Also if you're going to watercool the CPU, pay attention if the case supports AIO. I personally always stick to cases with front mesh panel. I don't know why the chassis with front glass panel are popular nowadays, but they have terrible cooling performance and practically no airflow. I highly recommend Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh, it has excellent cooling performance and it's new V2 model has USB type-c port as well

It depends on your needs. If you are not going to overclock, you'll be fine with that Mobo for all 5000 series Ryzen CPUs.

i have this same cpu gpu combo. but i think i have the challenger 12gb. the 5800x also runs very hot and sadly that makes the 5700x or the 5600 the better choice. when i first got my cpu it was running 90c on a 120mm aio. which is shitty, but its what i had. i ended up having to undervolt the cpu.

does both of ur pcie nvme 4.0 ssd work?
@PCLabBrussels Жыл бұрын
@@restingplate2342 Yes, but only one of them works as gen4, because B550 chipset supports only one gen4 nvme slot, which in connected to the CPU (top slot). The bottom one, which is connected to the chipset, works at gen3 speed. Since Gen4 is backward compatible with gen3, it's fine. For AMD only X570 chipset supports 2 Gen4 slots
