Natalie! Hello you! I just watched this video and as always, loved all of your projects. I have a recipe for a "Royal Plaster" that I would like to share with you and all of your niners. It works so wonderfully when you want a raised stencil. And the glue adds a strength to it that just joint compound alone doesn't have. Hope it helps in future projects. Royal Plaster 1)2 parts premixed joint compound 2)1 part white glue, mix in and stir well 3)to thicken, stir in up to 1 part powdered (90 min. Set time)joint compound, stirring in just a little at a time. Your embossed texture has dried when coolness is gone when touched.

@@designedtothenines I make costumes for local theatre, charity items (pillowcases for hospitalized kids, dresses for girls around the world) and my own clothing. Looks like a sponsor is coming? My main piece of advice is to decide what brand you want before you start buying. Several brands have come out with systems which are cordless and share batteries. I have positive impressions of several brands, and there are a lot of good tools in the moderate price range. But my multi tool, I absolutely recommend a multi tool, so versatile, anyway the company has put out a new system and now my battery will be phased out! Battery powered circular saws changed my relationship with cutting wood! They are so much lighter weight, I feel very confident that I can expect a good straight cut. Before I was pretty afraid of circular saws.

Well, once again, you knocked it out of the park! I loved every one of these! And I love that you put new content on your channel almost every time and do not rely on older ones every other video. I realize diyers have to pull up older material now and then just to have a break. But wow, some pull them up every two to three videos it seems! Your content is just so original and always turns out beautiful!! Thank you again for all the hard work you put into all you do!
@designedtothenines2 жыл бұрын
Yes... Thank you. I do put up compilation episodes every now and then (actually I have a couple coming up 😉). DIYers do this for a couple reasons. First, you are right, what we do actually takes a lot of stamina and time, so a break to recharge the batteries is necessary to bring continuous quality content. But believe it or not, KZbin algorhythm LOVES the compilation videos because it brings watch time to our channel, so they promote them like CRAZY! LOL. My all time biggest performing episodes are almost all compilation videos and they are also the ones that bring in the most subscribers. Crazy, I know! New subscribers get the chance to kind of "binge" on some of our best projects. But I definitely do try to be sensitive to my existing subscriber base and bring new fresh ideas because I love you guys... you are awesome for sticking with me. =) So the next time you see a compilation from me, I would really appreciate it if you hit play (even if you don't watch it), mute it and let it play on another tab and just know you are really hooking me up and I am SUPER grateful for your support. You Rock!!!💕

Everything is beautiful, including the husband and the dog. Just a tip - I make a lot of door mats with stencils I make on the cricut. Before I put I apply my transfer tape to the vinyl I rub it into a rug. Some fibers come of on the tape and make it much less sticky and easier to remove.

Love all your ideas! Strawberries, I grew last year and had an abundance everytime they got one og the long runners. I cut them off carefully and repotted in another pot. They live water bit need to make sure your soil is well drained. Hope that helps!

I've loved all of your videos. Thank you for admitting your struggles, like with the monogrammed pots. They're beautiful, by the way!! All experienced crafters know what it's like when what's in our heads doesn't match the direction our project is going in. Do we scrap it? Do we undo our work (knitters and crocheters say we're doing the "frog stitch", or "frogging it", because we "ribbit it out" lol) Do we layer on new ideas and techniques until it looks right? New crafters need to know that it's ok. Thank you for keeping it real.

These projects are beautiful. (Will your hoa allow an "outdoor kitchen"? This would translate to: A beautiful "utility base" to house the "appliances". Because a box that is the size of an outdoor kitchen could house your tools in a weatherproof environment. You could build in a smoker/bbq to make it legit - and who doesn't want that? I'm thinking 20ft long? 4ft deep? As tall as they allow? Closed, it would look like a sleek outdoor kitchen set up. Open the doors and Voila, tool storehouse. If you build it with places to set up outdoor umbrellas, you could have shade for working. The Umbrellas, furled, could be stored inside it, too. Just a subversive idea. Something about hoa 's triggers my subversive thinking.)
