Hi To be fair I didn't think it would make much difference but I definitely noticed the turbo being more responsive.

Hi @g5mav wonder if you can help me, I am after the original ford part that you removed to put the new mountune throttle elbow , I have searched the Web for ford throttle elbow and all I am getting is airtec and moutune throttle elbow not the genuine ford one anywhere in uk, please can you kindly tell me the part number of the original ford throttle elbow many thanks in advance

Hey Phil To be fair I did have the sane thought as you. I do think it would make a difference as there is a lot of plastic there in the standard part. The only thing I would be worried about is the strength as I am guessing the internal plastic is there to stop the pipe crushing when the jubilee clip is done up tight.

The fins are in the original to direct airflow it was design to do that
