Thanks Leon, great playing and demo of the unit. Clean/chorus sounds in the previous vid were also excellent. I gotta check the used prices on these, last time I looked they were not real cheap. I wonder what Line6 and Fractal will bring out for their next gen products.

I watched your video on the real Bogner ecstasy. It’s good. I’m really liking the tone. Seems to have a mid bump like slash uses. That sort of cocked wah sound. Also loving the Super reverb. Loving the SRV and old school vibe.

Great demo as always. Tonally I’m hearing a lot of high end fizz on these models, a lot of “KCCCCHHHHHHHHH” sizzle. The Axe and QC tones are definitely a step above the Hemix.

Dual delay - 1/4 note on one channel and dotted eighth on the other :) I've got a video going through my fave HX delays

Hey Leon. Cool to hear the Ragdoll riffs! I have found the really high gain options in Helix lacking on their own in the past. The original Helix 5150 sounds broken almost. Glad they revised it, like they did with the 800. 99% of the time I use the Placater Clean and Dirty for everything, if I'm not using an amp or external preamp like the IR-X.

Bogner Red is my favorite so far. Since I'm not much of a Fender aficionado I'm curious to see what the Fender buffs have to say about it. In any event, hats off to companies like Fractal and Line6 that keep these updates coming.

Really enjoyed playing with the EV Panama Red yesterday. Got it really close to the 5150 that comes stock in the Nano Cortex. Not better or worse, just different, but close. So, pretty impressive. The new cabs are ok. I still tend to just use the LT TV IR. Just always seem to work no matter what I'm doing! I use it on my Nano Cortex as my go-to IR as well.

I really enjoy videos like this because I already have a Helix and there’s zero danger of my wanting to buy something afterwards The PV Panama Red is beastly and will be my new fav Also, really appreciate the LT TV mix IR - I use it pretty much exclusively. The only time I don’t use it is when I disable the IR to run through a power amp and real cabs

Fair point.... plus which other unit Packs this much in a form factor that actually allows the normal weekend warrior to easily bring a backup rig..... maybe one of the Chinese modelers. But I would rather than use the hx stomp.

No matter how many updates Line 6 does there is something about all of their products that sound digital and fake to me. I can pick out a Line 6 sound just about every time vs any of the other major modelers on the market.
