HIGH MAINTENANCE WEEK | DOES BODY SCULPTING WORK?

Hey everyone! Thanks for watching this video! I recently went to DMH Aesthetics in Larchmont Village, Los Angeles to try out a few things that I have always been curious about. Microneedling, Body Sculpting, injectables, and so on! I obviously don't believe anyone needs these things, but because I have always been curious about whether or not they work.. it would make for an interesting experiment!

I'm turning 52 in 10 days, and I can honestly say I am not a good looking man, BUT EVEN STILL seeing the impact that aging has had on my body over the last 10 years has been very dishearting, so when I put myself in the shoes of someone that IS a good looking person, and imagine how much of their self worth they've invested in "being" good looking, the process of aging has to be utterly terrifying to them, so I try to have sympathy for that.

@@ZacMorris I completely see what your saying, and I do get that it must be just as bad (if not worse) for the beautiful with regards to the ageing process. I suppose for someone like me that's always been physically hedeous, it's funny ( not ha ha, but strange funny) when I see somebody so beautiful try and improve perfection! The nice thing about Kyle is that he seems beautiful on the inside, so I do wish him all the love and luck in the world! I'd sell my soul for an ounce of that beauty though!!! Xx

There is for micro-needling: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5556180/ The only thing that muscle stimulation via electrical impulse does is pump blood and lymph into the muscle for a very short time. It would be useful, for say, a photo shoot. Just like many body-models will do an intense "micro" workout prior and during a shoot, this could aid in that, but there is no lasting effect, and it's def not a way to build muscle.

Man, I give you credit! I’m about a decade older than you and I have no skin care routine...I’m just too lazy. So I really admire people who make the time to do these things. 😁 PS - there are a bunch of muscles back there...gluteus Maximus, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, piriformis, quadratus femoris, etc. So I don’t think it has to do with the number of muscles...I think it’s less sore ‘cause of what you said, there’s more fat back there. 😁

The body sculpting seems as if it would be effective especially after repeated treatments but I worry about it's safety. I'm no doctor but I would think all that introduction of electrical "whatevers" could cause your heart beat to somehow get out of wack.
