Most of the people saying his was great just thought the guys were hot. The message is awful. You don't shame your friends, you support them until they're ready. this is bullying.

Absolutely not. Coming out is deeply personal. Everyone has the right to do it in their own way and in their own time. You don't shame your friends. And this was highly disingenuous, having the friend just shrug it off. It often goes very differently. No one had the right to decide when others 'should' come out. People have their own agency and autonomy. You don't do this to your friends. I've been out my whole life. I would NEVER shame someone else for not being ready.

We want a world where people feel safe to be themselves but don't push people out of the closet. You might put them in a dangerous situation. A real friend wouldn't want that. They will come out when and if they're ready to.

Gay people would nvr have to “come out” if heteronormativity wasn’t so indoctrinated in our culture. Folks think heterosexuality is the default setting for sexual orientation and it’s clearly not. Imagine if gays assumed everyone was born gay just like straight folks assume everyone is born straight. It’s aggy aF🙄

First issue here is that gay community itself want and expect acceptance equality from the straight community, and yet within the community there is a majority which would be labelled on a general platform has hypocrites...and racists. So why expect handouts when your not giving - right. Secondly, and unfortunately our community is full of 'CLONES'. Those who want partners who look, speak, walk and dress like each other (com'on!..just walk down any street or go in any bar/club). I am mixed-race from mixed parentage that faced the same issues from bigotry society back then but my parents were 'strong' and 'determined' enough to not give a sh*t about the 'clones' back in their day also...so sure that's where I get that from. My husband is Spanish, my previous (serious boyfriends - I don't' deal in 'small-talk relationships!') boyfriends were russian, canadian and also mixed Indian/English, so all different from one another, and if any of those would have been anything other, it wouldn't have been either a problem or 'preference ('preference', gosh!...that word is so overused/abused in the community). They were/are all confident enough, non-bias enough, 'Reeeal' enough and either them or I racist, to pick our partners without giving a sh*t what the community clones thought from either side. So, yeah, until the 'cloning' stops the racism will continue.

From my experience I'm fortunate that I was able to find other black gay men to hang with and learn from when I was a baby gay. I think we need to unlive the notion that there is a singular "gay community." The only thing we all have in common is we're men who are attracted to other men. Once I came out, I realized that the gay world is no different than the str8 world it's divided along racial/ethnic lines. Racism is a feature not bug of how things work in the "gay culture" in the US. It seems like ethnic "minorities" are encouraged blend into white gay spaces where they are necessarily welcome, that's not a healthy option.

Did you come across info in your research about different climates and how long the polish will look good for? I live in the Pacific Northwest and am thinking about doing this but not sure if mother nature would just make it look old and dusty again immediately. Thanks for the video! Super helpful!

Gay men are some of the most discriminatory people I HAVE EVER MET; be it your race, body type, size, masculinity vs femininity. It's ironic how LGBTQ+ is also the pinnacle of liberalism. Something to think about.

@caylya78694 ай бұрын
Anyone realize that the white community is a lot more accepting of feminine men but when a black men act feminine there’s big reaction from not only the black community but also within the community the black gay man is apart of? I’ve come to realize that connection and why fixing that, not only will progress to less homophobia but a lot less racism and stereotypes about black people and how they’re treated. A lot racism in general to be honest.
