Park the mill under semi unloading belt ?
@RockinHFarmToys4 жыл бұрын
That used to be done. Problem was the mill is the limiting factor. If it goes down everything including the farmers in the field stop too. This way if a mill goes down or someone does not show up for work farmers can pick and semis can unload.

Are you referring to the lights on top of the cab? Pete and KW trucks are removable roof caps. Your drill out the rivets and mix and match those.

I don't know about the money aspect. They do custom feeding and likely have their own cattle I assume. All the corn is supplied by farmers from all over the area along with the feedlots own farm ground.

I did wonder why the auger from the truck could just feed straight into the miller,instead of dumping it on the floor,
@RockinHFarmToys2 жыл бұрын
This is a common comment as this seems inefficient. The problem with going directly into the mill is, if the mill goes down, the whole operation stops. High Moisture Corn has a narrow window in this area to be harvested. By stock piling, more semis can be dumped keeping farmers harvesting. Plus the mills are moved from pit to another.

Seems to me a hunger waste of time and machinery wh done you just elevate it from wagon to proses or plant 👩🦲
@RockinHFarmToys3 жыл бұрын
That is what a lot of people say. The problem is, if a mill goes down or employees get sick everything from combines picking corn in this narrow window of time to trucks stop.

It's a superb almost industrial device, congratulations, but sorry, I am shocked. I see a lot of huge tractors running for nothing and tons of CO2 in the atmosphere. Please, let's just stop talking about dollars for 1 minute and think together; after all this activity, are you 100% sure that mother nature agrees with this? Is there no other way to make money?
