Well Done Micka, a late December pig! After the fight is over and you are back at home, you can start to think about what it took to land that big un. All of the care you took in selecting the gear and tackle (expensive), good knots, line change outs, the work getting the boat out there, the scouting, the cold, etc. to land a pig in super heavy current, very satisfying.

Micka, was you able to spot-lock the entire time with your 36 volt setup in that strong current? I’m thinking about upgrading my trolling motor this year, and was wondering if a man could spot-lock in that type of current, and how long will your batteries last with the trolling motor working that hard…

@@phillipjohnson915 your probably right. I don't know much about how it happens or why to be honest.
@larryled68398 күн бұрын
Why don't you make a few videos catching those 5 to 15 pound catfish for those of us that are not interested in catching huge catfish over and over. Watching you catch five ten pounders is more entertaining then watching you catch one fifty pounder. Luke at Catfish and Carp channel ended up with over ten million subscribers catching mostly smaller catfish. Too many shows with people catching the big ones but not very many with showing the smaller fish.
@mickaburkhart148 күн бұрын
@@larryled6839 ok i can definitely add a few of those in. Lord knows i catch plenty of the smaller ones. You looking for more so the wheres and why's and how's or just the catching itself?
