The district attorney dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence, which is often due to the prosecutor not believing they can prove the alleged crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Regardless, there was also the issue of him preying on minors on social media and more recent allegations of sexual assault, so it seems Justin Roiland had more than just a few skeletons in his closet.
