80% sure this idiot is cheating and ping doesn’t help spies. You’ll get a facestab here then have 7 stabs in a row not register at all or butterknife someone you are directly behind, as well as ping messing up cloaked movement. It just makes it super inconsistent

I agree that ping manip probably is super inconsistent. I'm guessing they just like trolling with it, because even if its not a viable long term strategy (like you said, probably doesn't help them do well consistently), they probably enjoy the random instances where it leads to insane facestabs like this one, and seeing people's reactions.
